A few years ago (2019) we did a P & O cruise from Brissy to the Melbourne Cup - I alo was cheesed off that there was no jugs in the room to make a cuppa with ....... Really prefer to have coffee tham a tea - That year there was huge bushfires and there was smoke 30 nautical miles out to sea all the way to Melbourne - When we arrived in Melbourne we were herdered like cattle and had to wait for hours to catch buses to Flemington race coarse - Paid included in the price of our tickets was the entry fee to go to the races and we paid $300 for each seat in the hot sun near the finish line - As soon as the Melbourne Cup race was run we had to walk back to where we dropped off to catch the bus back to the ship whch was about 2 miles....... Again wait for the fleet of buses to take over 2,300 people back to the ship - ....... After the return through the constant smoke Idecided that "Cruising was NOT for us". Rathe sit around a good campfire and drink a few coldies and talk to people who are travellers like us. Regards Errol and Ruth.

Hey mate good video. I noticed that the charging fault light was blinking. Is that normal? I ran down on solar so I plugged into power but the lights and fridge etc wasn’t working. I thought it would. When I plugged in to 240v everything like aircon, microwave etc was good but none of the 12v appliances and my charging fault light was blinking. I’m so confused

Thanks for the video. What are all the charging options? What's the setup for charging it with the car? im assuming you'd need a dcdc to get full charge due to the alternator voltax max being lower than the max voltage of a lithium or even an AGM. Also, is there and capability to charge it from a home 240 socket, or would you need to undo the lid and use a 240 socket battery charger?
@GoneTravelingOZ

Big fans of show grounds and counter meals at the local pub ourselves, we too much prefer the smaller towns. Currently running a NP300 Nav as a tow motor, gutless heap of puss really when it comes to towing. Throwing a few grand at it has made a lot of difference,Pedders suspension,tow mirrors,brown Davis long range tank and I drive have made it tolerable but what do ya do I’ve spent the money and just have to make the most of it. One thing it does do well is fuel economy which is it’s saving grace these days, too be honest it’s truly amazing really and as everyone knows just now that’s a god send . Currently at Geurie show grounds,the bride set me up and buggered off to Liverpool England to look after her sick mum , I’ve already been here a couple of months and maybe looking down the barrel of at least another one maybe two. Too be honest it hasn’t been that bad ,I have a truckload of grandkids just down the road that visit me all the time and collect huge piles of firewood for the cost of a few Mars Bars and Smarties 😂😂. Loving ya work 👏👏👏👍👍👁️👁️😎😇🐕‍🦺❤️🙏

We Looked at the NP300 too when looking at different tow vehicle but as you said they can be quite sluggish when unload. Hopefully the money you have put in helps out a heap! Never been To Geurie before just had a quick look on Google maps to see where it is hopefully your not stuck there too long and the Brides Mum isn't too sick, good to hear your grand kids are up the road a bit they will certainly keep you on your toes. M e and the bride traveled around for years on motorcycles in a three man tent two blowup air mattress and two folding stools 😂😂. We are now in our new age manta ray in the lap of luxury. Just a thought, when the boys get a little older try a three man tent each the mattress stool and bedding will be heaps smaller than any swag and heaps more practical when it comes to rain wind heat cold and bugs/critters. The only way we have found to get anywhere near a $1K week is to travel a little stay a lot and free camp whenever practicable . If you’re thinking about 500 , 1000k days you will have Buckles. Like yourself water is our limiting factor,we can actually get away with 20ltr s a day,so don’t really need much more other than a couple of jerries for top ups (I have been thinking about a bladder) . All the best 👁️👁️😎😇🐕‍🦺❤️🙏

Id love to do a half lap or so on a motorbike would be able to get into soo many places, the tents do sound a lot better less weight and take up bugger all room. Yeah I've watch KZfaq channel say they doing it under 1k a week with kids i really think they full of BS there's no way its happening!! we now only move on ave 150 - 200kms at a time more time to explore less time in the car. kids make it hard with the water but they are getting better. This seems like a great option compared to other 25amp chargers price wise. Happen to know what the charging profile is for AGM batteries? Odyssey batteries seem picky about receiving a steady 14.4ish v for bulk charging and steady 13.6-7v absorption. For the AGM reconditioning mode does it list how much voltage it runs. Concern is that AGM and voltage higher than 15v is not recommended due to possibly burning off electrolyte fluid.
