I experienced soapy feeling with pink and it dried with a cast but roots puffy. I need a little help with my hair. I like the airy, elongated and slight hold. No oils I prefer butters in my leave in. Any suggestions

This video is from so many years ago. Would you believe me if i tell you that i only noticed some of these products in my country a year or two ago? Additionally, i love that you show products that are available in Africa, im from Africa and these are some of the more affordable brands herr like the Dark and Lovely gel in another video and the Au Naturale in this video. I'm six years late to this video but yeah! I thought being natural would be easy. Lol. I got a big chop and now I'm at the awkward length. I can't do 3 day hair because of shrinkage. And yeah it's expensive even though I use other natural products as well such as flaxseed gel and bentonite clay mask and ACV rinse, just to reduce some of the cost. But I still love trying super hydrating and curl friendly products, curl creams, enhancers etc. I just enjoy it and I'm still searching for my go to products but hhmm it gets pricey.

this is a thousand years late, but what they meant with the pomade is: put a tiny amount on your palms, rub them together, then do the motion of pulling back your curls into a pony tail gently to distribute the product. essentially, you're just smoothing it lightly on. i used to use the pomade after the gel to break up the cast.

With your hair texture and curls being so tight. How do you retain length without it shrinking back up? My curls are basically just like yours and my hair shrinks up to just above my shoulders. Ughhh. For reference when my hair is straight it goes to the middle of my back. 😊
