I bought the independence perforated high for my 23 nightster. Sounds awesome, but can’t reach my back brake or right footpeg now. Said it fits my bike. Called the company and they said now that they are looking at it, it doesn’t make sense. They could’ve of easily tucked it in one more inch. Having to get peg extenders and still yet to find something to do about my brake pedal. Be aware of this

After having this exhaust for a couple months and going through the installation hassle, I have to say I am not impressed with my experience overhaul and kind of regret not going to a competitor option. There was no installation instructions, parts quality is below expectations, and it was a PITA to install the baffle. One side of the exhaust was not properly straight, causing high interference. I had to disassemble half of the whole thing to put in my work bench and knock the original resonator out to allow room for the baffle, which had the be installed with a hammer due to the pipe not straight. The zero email answer from customer support was a disappointment, too. Unfortunately, due to these reasons I cannot recommend Freedom Performance products.

This exhaust is amazing, I just got it installed today. It has a huge tip/end variety, ONLY BAD THING. The right foot peg is covered by the exhaust.. Meaning your leg is resting on the exhaust fighting for any foot peg… Nighster does have 1-2 options for longer foot pegs but add another $150-200 to the bill. Also yes, the Nighster special rear seat pegs have to come off for this. But this exhaust makes your Nighster actually sound like a Harley not a lawn-mower so to me it’s worth the pains… (It definitely sounds louder in person, Video does some justice but not fully)

Definitely not that easy to install it in my H-D. Awful production tolerance causing lots of interference. A true nightmare, had to disassemble half of the exhaust.

How did you setup your O2 sensors. Front cylinder in de original plus . Original Mid O2 sensor plug in de rear and the original rear sensor plugged off ?

You know a guy is the real deal when he has to bring his bike to a shop to get baffles removed. Because you can't do that at home blindfolded with one arm in 10 minutes with one allan wrench or anything.

Sounds barky as hell. Too long of a pipe though...at most it should be halfway between end of fender and bag. flush with bag would even be ok.

Love this sound! Need help in deciding....I currently have Akra's on my Grand America and love those pipes, but these...Freedom pipes have the sound that I like and makes the bike sound just "mean and angry." My question. Should I get these or keep what I have? 🤔

I can’t do it!!! I ride twin cam and the sound alone is enough to keep me on a twin cam. It’s a dope ass little bike but that thing sounds like a MT09

That’s how it’s supposed to sound. When I had my standard, no baffles in my Vance and Hines dragpipes, sounds great. Folks say you lose horsepower, I’m not racing so I don’t care.

I really like the sound but I really hate the exhaust setup on the Nightster altogether. It's too fat and heat shield is too big and it sits to high up. I wish it had the stock Softail exhaust setup. I think the bike would be significantly more appealing aesthetically if they went more traditional with the exhaust system or at least slimmed up the diameter with a sleeker heat shield.

Sounds amazing, I see only one issue for advanced riders, we will destroy that lower pipe in tight turns...
