If healthy, the Knicks are not touching the 76ers... just stop it right now.... Maxey, Oubre, PG, (DFS from the Nets or Caleb Martin from the Heats possibly) and Embiid.... I completely agree. Yes this is Nepotism, and?? Late second rounds hardly if ever produce effectively in the NBA anyways. It's not like the Lakers used there First round pick on him. There was minimal risk anyways, and we get to see something that's (to my knowledge) never happened in NBA history. A father and Son playing in the league at the same time. Not to mention being on the same team? This is a really cool story, and one fans should be excited about. Had this been Kobe, or Mike, or another beloved great, we wouldn't be criticising this move. The fact it's Lebron (the most scrutinised athlete in NBA history) is the reason media and fans are upset.

PG will make it tough. But what makes the sixers dangerous is that no one can lock up a healthy Embiid. The Knicks also struggled to contain Maxey. Both Embiid and Maxey averaged 30+ against the Knicks playing alongside Tobi who the Knicks didn't have to guard. So that means the Knicks will have to choose who they put more attention on. It's definitely something they should be concerned about. And Oubre is going to be putting pressure on the defense attacking the paint. So basically the Knicks have to contain 3 elite scorers. That's a challenge for any team, and no team has a one on one answer against Embiid unless you consider Horford to be that. So it will be a fun match up to watch

It’s an issue because his son is taking away a roster spot and not just any roster spot because he’s not on a two-way contract like any other player drafted in his position would be. Not only is Bron’s son on the team but the dude that he started a podcast with during the NBA playoffs where they would draw up plays just for shits and giggles is now the head coach of the Lakers. Aside from the Celtics, The Lakers are THE premiere franchise in the NBA with a rich history of success dating back to the 1950s in Minneapolis and they have become a circus act of an organization trying to appease the demands of a player who’s past his prime and who’s best years were spent elsewhere. It’s gonna be hard to command the respect of other men in that locker room when they know that LeBron James is running the show and his 19 year old son is taking up a valuable roster spot on a team that has championship aspirations damn near every year.
