I can't seem to find where the handout is located to be able to print it out. Can anyone help guide me how to find it? I'd love to have that for my own personal use & for my physicians.

I have to say I was impressed with how caring the nurses and support staff were at the center, I was a nervous wreck and their demeanor put me at ease. Not to mention the thoroughness of Dr. Boin. I give them A+ all around!

I have all the ANAS antibodies positive, the Mexican doctors here in Mexico, never ever cared. (For years, and a two German doctors,as well I Germany). The antibodies were elevating. Again nobody knew why and none doctor here cared, one was like "oh ummm all positive" and yawned. It's been so difficult when most of the doctors apparently "rheumatologists" don't care, they easily (misdiagnose) "diagnose" fibromyalgia.

very very informative! I have never had my ana pattern stain/titers explained to me. once I had this bloodwork, looked into the possible indicators of all diseases listed on my bloodwork...diffuse scleroderma fits all my square pegs in square holes. (through many, many presentations such as this, I do believe it is what I have. I just need an actual answer. I'm over four years into my original misdiagnosis of lupus. I need a sSCL knowledgeable doctor to look at my records from rheum, heart, skin, pics of blown capillaries, overgrowth of nail keratin, all my teeth rotting under the gums, colonoscopy and endoscopy, weight loss, extreme skin changes, sudden onset of reynauds, thick skin, broken capillaries, frozen fingers, new calcifications, all starting suddenly with what I thought was a spider bite as I had several painful hot swollen fingers in the beginning. I'm near Boston. The more I try to be an advocate for my health, the more I seem to be dismissed with a diagnosis of from one as some kind of hand arthritis and fibro, then another rheum. psoriatic arthritis (?! with no follow up!) I'm glad I can understand the b.w. numbers now. I'm in my late forties and I'm experiencing fec. and urine incontinence. I hope I can find a specialist willing to see me. If it happens to be something else, I'm ok with it. I just need to know as my family knows I'm sick, but without an official diagnosis I essentially have nothing. Thank you, the more I learn; the more prepared I feel to detail my clinical presentation/ progression from 2018 until now. Bless you.

So what's up with Dr Chatterjee? Scleroderma expert in Cleveland but doesn't do specific antibody testing. No nailfold test. Very dismissive. Basic bloods were normal and I keep getting referrals to Psych 🙄 This was so informative and validating actually. Thanks guys. Talk about a delay in diagnosis I can't walk and now I have shortness of breath, back (kidney) pain, and chest discomfort! But CK and ANA was normal which is all that was tested. I just need to move.

Hi, it's sad to hear that there are doctors that don't know how to diagnose each form of Scleroderma. I recommend you to go to another doctor. And ppl who sees you in an integral complete way. I hope someday anybody has to go through a long awful path to get right diagnosis. :(
