I have never seen the dash trim like what's in this truck with wood grain all the way to the lens cover over the gauges..

@Benjamin Woodworth This model is equipped with an option called XLT Luxury Group (precursor to the top-of-the-line Ranger Lariat package that would be new for 1978) and among the required options was the automatic transmission. I tend to disagree about the 4-speed manual, however, and think it was just as well that the automatic was required with that option.
