I have a 5.0 aH Milwaukee M18 battery that when placed on the charger, the GREEN light illuminates. However, when I press the button the 1st bar flashes 7 times VERY FAST! I just checked it with my voltmeter and received a reading of 4.07 when I tested it as instructed in this video with a voltage reading of 16.30. The only thing I noticed was that one of the contacts on the right side if looking straight down on it, appears tarnished (darker in color). I used a copper brush on it and returned it to the charger. Thoughts? THANKS!!!!!

interesting basics thanks I guess a 4wire measure of the RI (uner 1Khz) should be added . I have scratched my head a lot with those second hand batteries capacities and processes. In the end what may vary the condition of the LiIon element is his history ; how was it used, charged, at wich temperatures. SO having a balancer module used for the charging may really be advantageous in the long term. If not when we try to recycle a battery that have some smll weakness on one or a few cellules, correctying it with a balancer may be pleasing for the eyes, but it is not a guarantee that the balance will stay in place (on the contrary the weak cells degrade soon, as I was told from experienced friends)

Just ordered a load of these. All are between 1200-1350mAh from different sellers. Each batch seems to be equal though. Fake, and should be sold as 1300mAh. They are supposed to be 23680 but I received 18650 every time too. I know that real 23680 batteries exist with 2440mAh capacity..
