I remember writing this for Hendrix (We were so close i just called him Jim) back in the 60's. He never quite captured the essence of the song but you have been able to do it better than me! I also wrote or co wrote most of his songs and taught him how to play. We were really close! Ahhh those were the days...

I get a feeling of despair about what's happening in the world. Your fearless guitar playing however is giving me the strength to continue having hope and not give up. I think if we stop listening to what the mainstream media tells us, often the narrative of what governments want us to believe and focus on, and we take responsibility of our own lives, rise up from victim hood about terrible things that happend in our lives, than there will be room for love and care about whats happening closely around us. Neighbors,family and friends. It might be a drup but I believe this is the best thing we can do.
