Actually, the Plus has updated lining with padding and a rolled collar. The normal Boardwalk skates don't have a lining they just have the leather you see on the outside. So they're just a little more comfortable and with a bit more sizing, and in the larger sizes (14 and 15) they come with a metal plate.

So, the outsole of the boot is made of cemented rubber, and plates should always be riveted or screwed to the boots. I have never seen a plate glued to a boot but the most common way to mount a boot is with screws.

No, they are true to your foot measurement size! I just tried that size because it was too small and to see if it fit well, I prefer a tighter fit on my skates to get a more reactive feel so for me I liked the size down but the size up would be true to my size 🤗

I’m a uk size 6, and bought a uk size 7, they fit like a glove. If I’d bought the size 6, they would have been too tight 😣

I think that may have more to do with your heels! The artistic skate probably had a heel right? Without heels, the Parkstars put you in a more bent/aggressive stance that is better for your ankles on impact but for rinks, the heels give you a better balance and posture for dancing. It's all preference though!

@@alice_mation yes :) They make your balance feel more natural with the wheels. The plates are also likely 10 degrees on the artistic skate which is just more stable. The larger the angle the more agile they will feel.

They are compatible with the Reactor Neo plates, no need to switch out the pivot cups with the ones provided with the Huck Trucks because the Huck pivot arms fit in the Reactor Neo plates. They are universal in a sense! They are perfect on 10-degree angle kingpins but they can be bent to suit a 20-degree angle so it just depends on what plates you have but most outdoor skates come with a 10-15-degree angled plate

Yes

They are similar as they are both made for outdoor skating but the key differences are that the Riedell Crew have leather in their boots and they have a nylon plate while the Bunny's are vegan and have a metal plate. The Crew has a slightly harder and larger wheel and slightly higher rated bearing. Either is a great option for beginners but the Bunny's are a bit easier to get into with the rolled collar in the back and a softer wheel that's better for outdoor skating.

You can use almost any bearing removal tool and it'll work if you use it at the right angle it just may take a bit of finessing.
