Too small for moose poo. More like deer or maybe an elk. Loved your ending!

Last time I was in Newfoundland they were doing road work on the highway. When I got to my aunt's place I told her and she looked surprised at first, then she said "ahh, election year..."

GAVIN… I have taken that ferry ( I transport shows ) and we went to St. Johns…. The dinner I had was trezmendus! I got to see a Blue Whale breach outside the ferry about a mile away… it was massive.

Do you ever use a longer focal length (400+) to frame some of the far away features? Or do you always use wide angle? Simon could probably show you how to use a longer lens. 🤣🤣

The roads sound like the ones in the UK at the moment! I used to flit back and forth to Canada for work and sometimes the plane would land at Newfoundland to pick up and deliver mail, the landing was pretty hairy slam the plane down sharply then hang on whilst the pilot navigated the craters on the runway! Great video looking forward to seeing more!

Funny you mentioned how bad the roads are . My wife and I were there last fall with our camper and I said to her that if a person outfitted a truck and crew to go around and fill pot holes they could make a fortune . Well if it wasn't a couple days later on our ferry ride to Bell Island there was a government truck with pot hole repairs on the side and a crew of guys on it . The real funny part was as I walk by them and said you guys will never be out of work and they all laughed . Then as we drove around the island which only took about a hour and seen at least a thousand pot holes we got back on the ferry only to see the same truck and crew leaving the island . Have to wonder how many holes they filled in about a hour .🤣

Gavin, not sure if you were making a joke or actually have a problem with your triglyceride and cholesterol levels. if true, there is something that you can do and it really works. Both of mine are at astronomical levels so I take Crestor to control them. It lowered my levels somewhat but I couldn't get my triglycerides below 400. My cardiologist recommended I take krill oil capsules. At first, I thought it was a waste of money and time but I tried it anyway. Both my cholesterol and my triglycerides fell like a rock, my numbers are perfect. I still have to take Crestor but the krill oil helped the drug do what it's supposed to. Worth a try, and freeze the capsules, it blocks the fishy taste. Love the channel. I have your book.

Well, Mr Fartotripper, is that the right name? seems a bit crude. Anyway, I tuned in with a fine Scotch to hand for the photography, but instead, I was regaled with steamy bedroom scenes, most... er, interesting. Ahem. Anyway, can I interest you in my latest range of pithy one-liners such as 'I've had 40minutes sleep and my face is like a two-day old congealed Pizza' Anyway, looking forward to the next instalment. Er, will I need tissues? Umm. Jolly good. Toodle Pip.

I've never heard Morten Hilmer even hint that a mountain or a trail was too rough or steep or that he might not make it.😁 But it has been many years since I was at the age where I was omniscient, omnipotent, and immortal. Now, if I get both feet on the floor in the morning it is an accomplishment. Take good care of yourself and Amanda, Gavin. No picture is worth killing or maiming yourself to get it.

I don't know how moose droppings differ from deer or elk or caribou, but another sign to look for is bark stripped off a tree as though it's been sheered off, anywhere from 6-9 feet up.
