the arguemental explosion of electrum - a copper is a penny, a silver is a dime, a gold is a dollar, yet we have half dollars and quaters. so fucka you irl i guess too. take my quaters and half dollars. Seriously, its not a bad uncountable currency, but most people when you ask why they dont use them, they will use the arguement of "I heard people hate it" - i dont hate it, i know a lot of people who like using them as collecter or foriegn coins even in legit capacity.

I always play as a dragon born reborn.Basically, just making me a skeletal dragon born, which is always my favorite to play. She never has the same name though one time I found a garfish scall right before the sessiand I brought it with me safe to say, everyone was laughing.Their ass off that entire session.Whenever I mentioned that I'm a dragon born reborn.Because I am sitting next to a literal skull

My favorite thing about each class is how different characters of different subclasses can be. I have a thri-kreen artificer who’s basically the villain, disgusted by the weakness of flesh because his eggs died of natural causes and he’s a battle smith, a pyromaniac Kalastar as an artillerist, and good natured gnome bettering the world as an a alchemist.

There is one race in d&d that would logically use futuristic weapons. The mind flayers had a multidimensional empire where these weapons exist somewhere, and they would have armouries containing future weapons.

A lot of experienced DMs treat Nat1s and Nat20s as automatic failure or success because, and this is mostly (and especially) true at lower levels, the modifiers and roll targets often are not significant enough to make a difference. Most level-appropriate DCs for a party of firsties aren’t 20, and even if they ARE a 20 the PCs usually have some sort of bonuses to the roll; it’s a desperate gamble that relies on the 20. So with players often getting as much as +6 or more, a 20 will always succeed just by numbers. Similarly, it’s INCREDIBLY hard to succeed on a roll of 1. It’s not often that characters of nearly ANY level under, say, 15 have a +15 modifier on rolls.

Trolley problems would be way interesting with a player who has very consistent morals for their character. “The elf and the dwarf are children, but one will kill someone in 10 years!” “I’ve been killing nonstop the last 3 weeks, whats the big deal?”

I think I figured out how to play as the doomslayer in D&D. A human barbarian with military background, proficient with ranged and melee weapons, after being kicked out of the military started hunting and killing demons. That's the outline and now expand on it

i like the race because its so earthy, less furry than a filborg and I think less popular than half elfs, which is the first race I thought of going for before knowing stayr, I also like the fact that it goes well with the outfit I'm going for!! when I heard the race to be fair, I did thought of that guy from narnia, but I'm more inspired by one of kelseys, from legends of avantris, character, her name is ferryn, a deer druid, and that's how my character is also a deer druid except the aesthetic is the complete opposite.

my boyfriend plays his barbarian in a way i really love. zariel tiefling/totem warrior with the outlander background, he's a gentle soul who loves nature and music. probably would've been a druid if given the choice, but he was kidnapped and forced to fight in a gladiator ring, so he's a barbarian. he's wise, softspoken, hates unnecessary conflict and isn't quick to anger - but if something does manage to piss him off, he is *_terrifying_*

Githzerai: you watch a LOT of Star Trek TOS or Voyager and the Vulcans are your favorite race.

I like how every single one of these runs on the singular assumption that the DM is jerkass. Like, why even play with someone who’s goal is fucking you over? Even Brennan Lee Mulligan doesn’t pull some if this shit.
