I can still hear the bongs now as I hit the stairway to the landing to go to bed, And my mother and father breathed a sigh of relief. The world in action theme was a prelude To me getting into my pyjamas well the end credits were. T I'd love to do that Donald Trump nearly killed by assassin's bullet What you talking about he difference was as I hit the stairway then to get changed the theme terrified me

I,talk to a man whos job it is working on Big Ben,been doing it 20 years,its a highly skilled job he doesn't mind it,but its the 334 steps is a bitof a killer lol,but got a lift in the tower now,up close the clock tower is massive.

Later in the decade, they stopped using the bit where Big Ben looms menacingly toward the viewer, instead using a smash cut to a very clear close up on the clock face...the "bongs" were dropped for a short while, then reintroduced between headline grabs.

How did they get the film sort of Big Ben's face with the scaffolding? The helicopter is flying passed Parliament I assume its an ITN one? The tbe short of the clock towers face? Brilliant how its done mind,it looks cold out to form that helicopter.

It would seem the order at which they are seen are: Arnold Diaz, Vic Miles, John Stossel, John Tesh, Bill Greenwood, Jerry Nachman (?), Chris Borgen, Judy Licht (?), (?), Mr. Diaz, Alan Kasper, Mr. Tesh, Mr. Borgen, Ron Swoboda (? - he definitely did sports at the station within this time), Mr. Miles, (?), J.J. Gonzalez, Carol Martin, Mr. Stossel, Dave Monsees, Marilyn Salenger, (?), Rolland Smith, and Jim Jensen.
