While I very much enjoy the Damage Done, Character and Ficiton era, I feel like the last three albums (Atoma, Moment, and Endtime Signals) are just more versatile and melodic, easily perfection tier for me

Damage Done, Character, Fiction = the greatest 3 album run in metal history. We Are the Void is underrated as hell because it came directly after those beasts. I really don't like Haven at all.

For me it was Metallica’s Master of Puppets. I remember ordering that album from my local library. My dad introduced me to bands like Judas Priest but I always wanted the music to be heavier so I got the Master of Puppets CD and jammed it once while I was doing the dishes and was absolutely blown away. I went on to listen to a bunch of Metallica albums after and go on to heavier stuff like Slayer later. That album still remains an absolute classic.

This band has had so many line-up and label changes, it's hard for them to maintain any level of consistency. I like some of their stuff (XIII), and it's a shame they weren't able to keep that "classic" line-up going. I never understood why J Mann left just as the band was starting to breakthrough into the mainstream.

As far as '93 goes, they almost gave a similar vibe to Burzum that year, but definitely less cringe, I could be wrong though🤷🏾

Wow, trying to defend this awful music with a mask on and sunglasses. Nu-metal, that’s funny. What’s metal about any of this noise you play? Nothing, this trend came and went within one summer. These bands have nothing new to say or play, gimmicks, awful lyrics and musicianship is amateurish. All these bands you mentioned haven’t progressed, that’s why they live in obscurity.

Tbh Korn's Issues is in my top 5 albums of all time. I can probably quote every lyric on it. So many metalheads see me in Bathory and Archspire shirts then are quick to call me a poser when I praise that record lol😅

never seen someone have the exact same ranking and opinion of falling in reverse and their discography as me. wow. it’s usually either “they’re the greatest band in the fucking world” or “they don’t have a single good song.” i think they have some bangers and it honestly pisses me off because i know they could cook if they really wanted to. i feel like if ronnie got out of his head we could get some solid shit.

Not sure if it makes sense to rank Ronnies albums on this Metal channel (FiR is not a pure metal band)... I mean if you rank Backstreet Boys albums, they all end up in F tier? This video feels for me (my opinion) more like "your album is new and I want to say that it is bad" (in your opinion in context of metal)... hmm kinda unnecessary...

I think of them like FFDP... they COULD make great music, the talent is there, but they just phone it in every time. Also I'm happy you're sharing your opinions and saying that you genuinely couldn't care less about "cancelling" people or the whole pandering nonsense haha. I appreciate that. I'm personally hoping we get a Marilyn Manson tier list when the new album drops, the first two singles are great! Would also love a review of the new Vended album (aka baby Slipknot) when that comes out haha.

I think Skydancer is very underrated. Great riffs and melodies and the songs have an unpredictable, almost prog like structure which I really enjoyed. The album made me think what a song that is both dark and tranquil would sound like. And Shadow Duet is singlehandedly better than everything the band did after We are the void.

I feel like if you want horror movie references that aren’t painfully obvious just listen to Aborted’s latest album. I know the lyrics are hard to understand but they’re more than surface level references with well written brutality that matches the raw and grimy horror of the films they reference. This band can be fun but I do agree that everyone is talented but it passes my cringe threshold too much
