What I love about Spaff is the consistency. Every time I check out a show there’s always interesting music happening. Jam bands can become routine and it makes the music boring. Never happens with these cats they’re always putting some new life into old lines. Not easy to do takes a lot of stamina and passion which is why so many eventually start nailing it in.

Hey, now, Spafford.! Nick in particular. I am moving back to the East Coast shortly, and I will hopefully either be at the Ardmore and Charlotte. One of them somewhere along line. I'm really looking forward to being able to see you more often, and I'm sorry I missed you when you were in Tacoma. Last go around. I was fighting that old cancer crap, but I'm hoping to be in remission soon and have tons of fun dance and dance and dance and with you guys looking forward to it. I hope everybody's well. Spafford has become one of my favorite jam bands. They're def one of the most talented bands out there today. Found them by mistake while listening to Phish and they were covering "Wolfman's Brother." Was impressed by them from day one! Needless to say I became hooked from that point on!

Blew me away. He’s in the spotlight too as lead guitar and really put on a show. He obviously put the work in to play with such a freeform band (as did the rest of the band to include him). I’ll see Aqueous if they come to town even though I don’t know how it’s pronounced!

@@johnhayes8476 At the end of May, the band's car was rear ended going 65mph on their way to Columbus. Everyone was shaken up but the guitarist/vocals leader Brian got the worst of it (I think) and has decided to take time off to recuperate (he also just had a kid) they have and are continuing their tours with Mike Ganzter from Aqueous. peace.
