Looks good, but for me I would like the stack-able washer/dryer, definitely need a rear door of some kind, didn't hear of any USB ports and lastly the main bathroom is right there off the kitchen why wasn't it placed in the bedroom like the smaller room. If I'm cooking wouldn't want someone to come out after blowing it up and you smell all that, no, no.

This is one of my favorite tiny home designs. This would pretty much fit what I'm looking for with some changes to suit me, but this is great. I'm far from close to being able to afford a tiny home right now. I'm trying to get back on my feet after caring for my mother the past year. She had dementia. We lost her earlier this year sadly. Now I'm in the process of trying to get back on my feet. When the time comes, this is definitely my top choice.

I think it is a, wonderful design. I do believe it should be a Gooseneck for easy towing more storage space for colthing. The height should be road legal at 13.1/2 inches unless it has a drip axle. I like the idea of Teo separate bathroom especially since there was a Pandemic. The bathrooms hold the most germs so having separate bathrooms is important. This a a great tiny house for a family. Apartments aren't much bigger. More emphasis on colthing storage that can easily be done for the junior bedroom with a gooseneck trailer. It was a bit tight but if you need to send kids to schools, young adult to training programs this is the best option so far. It is family oriented. It would have been nice to have seen flod up bunk bebs. But I guess that isn't important because nothing can go into that space to begin with. ❤❤❤ The Best Family Oriented Tiny House I have seen so far takes into account growing kids, older teens leaving the nest. Finally people listened to families.

Thank you for the constructive criticism. This is our first go at building this model, we will make tweaks to the design as we go and comments like this give us great insight. Thank you!!

I do not...like the bathroom across from a kitchen. Obvious reasons
@KimLucas-xh9wv4 күн бұрын
I like it but would give up the second bedroom and bath for more kitchen and storage space. I do like the large appliances😊
@user-fp2to8el2q5 күн бұрын
Ok first right off the bat, that couch is too close to the FP. Take out all those windows in the bedroom to allow for a dresser. It doesn't need but 1 window. The kitchen appliances looked crammed together. Not enough storage in kitchen. Would go for smaller appliances. I have seen many 5th wheels that are spectacularly layed out. With storage for days. I just haven't found that wow facter aspect in a tiny home yet.

Sir! Seating for 4?! That is seating for two! "Im going to switch sides with Nick so I can show you the storage" that right there tells me all I need to know. If you cannot pass each other around the bed (You sir are a small human) then this room is entirely too small.

Nice door and big couch. Lots of windows and light. I would under pin the front and build a deck. This is very nice for the right person. Put a back porch on the back and the bathroom is spacious. It is move in ready on the right lot.

Sinks need pulling forward on the cabinet. You will put your head through the mirror when you go to spit out your toothpaste.

The length is great! However, the width is too narrow. Makes it so second bedroom almost unusable for anybody other than a small child. If you add 3 feet to the width of it, the living room would look huge! The kitchen would look amazingly bigger. You could add a little bit of extra to the bathrooms. And the overall bedroom sizes would be amazing with that extra 3’. Plus a price at the time of video- subject to change….so we have a starting point. Also are you saying the furniture comes with it????

Love this home. Because I am short I would make the kitchen cabinets shorter and no dish washer, I would prefer drawers.

And why is the bathroom always right across from the kitchen that’s not good if your cooking and company makes number two it’s going to put a smell in your kitchen not good

This is a very nice tiny house. I could see myself living in one similar to it. The kitchen feels very spacious being a galley style kitchen. The bathroom is large and has two linen cabinets so, I would use the one on the shower side for a pantry and storage for food. How are these tiny houses secured? Are they bolted to a foundation? Are they placed on blocks and strapped down? The exterior picture shows wheels and a hitch tongue with the trailer on blocks. How exactly are they secured and is that a part of the price? So far, this one is my favorite.
@DannyCrowley-rs3km11 күн бұрын
I would probably replace that futon with a horizontal Murphy single bed that, when closed, has a desk/table attached to it. If built to a full height and width of 24", there could be room for large bi-fold doors above for pull-down hanging rods for clothes as there was nowhere, at all, for clothes to hang or be folded into drawers in your studio house. There are videos on KZfaq showing how to do this. (kzfaq.info/get/bejne/bb6HebqBt9K2en0.html). Your team seems to be more than capable of building a simple horizontal Murphy bed. You could also add drawers to the area above the washer/dryer area with a pull-down hanging rack above. You only need so much linen space. With a desk/table attached to the Murphy bed, you could have a sofa or two chairs with a table in between.

Not bad. I could live here. Did you explore the idea of putting the second bathroom across the end of yje house? That might have made the bedroom/office look and feel larger.

A Toilet Across From The Kitchen Sink????? Not Good. For the two of us I would turn the second bedroom into a little area with a round table and a sitting chair. Like a type of library/dinning area. I can see a couple living here but a family of 4 I just can't imagine unless they had no other choice. The kitchen has nice sized appliances and lots of storage. Lots of nice windows. I like the big couch. Funny how We all have our own ideas, opinions, wants and needs. Guess it only really matters for those who are purchasing a unit, those who have the $$$$$.

Super, super, super. I was amazed by this little house, 2 bathrooms! And that kitchen has more cabinets than mine. The only thing they should have been to put in a larger sink, since the faucet covers all the little space they have to use. The rest is perfect❤❤❤

The entry door should swing out instead of in. For safety and to be out of the way which is especially important in a tiny house.
@Tinymountainhouses18 күн бұрын
Having an outward swinging front door can be very problematic in this application because there is no covering over the door. It will make the are much more susceptible to leaking especially here in the rainy PNW. A cover could be added but it would need to be removed for transportation and we want our homes to be as move-in ready as possible. If you are worried about fire safety the large windows in the bathroom and bedroom are egress sized in the event of an emergency.
@COJones4318 күн бұрын
@@Tinymountainhouses in florida it would have to be a outward swinging door as that is the building code. It is stronger during a hurricane as inward swinging doors can be blown open easier that an outward swing door.

WHY would you put Hardy Board on only “2 sides”?!!! Just to save yourself money! Also put all the a/c’s over the door ways. Farmhouse sink would be better and in my opinion the Hickory cabinets look cheap. Having NO TV would be better than those small TV’s. The coat racks aren’t special because they can be bought on Amazon for about $10. The cubby in the kitchen needs to be bigger so it can be used as a coffee station. Why put 2 different finishes on the fixtures in the bathroom? I like some of it but who designed/decorated it?

Awesome tour, Olivia! I just love the design of this home, great use of space. Yes, the 2nd bedroom with the bathroom is just amazing. I would have liked to see more of the lounge area. It looks like there was an electric fireplace or propane? Did it have a mantel? Your homes always are high end, the quality really shows. Thank you for this. My hopes and dreams.

Sorry, we did miss that area, which is an electric fireplace with an arched mantel above it. You can see it a little better in this video: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/pq57oreZsNqweYk.htmlsi=AKncx3k_Q5nO12jW&t=119
