I think the video demonstrates that newer Porsche sports cars have an emphasis on improving the sound inside the car for the driver. It would be interesting to compare the noise from outside the cars as well!

The 997 has more complexity and variation in its harmonics over the rev-range. I have to give the "absolute screamer" award to the 992 though!

997 sounds a little more raw, but they're very similar and it would be hard to tell the difference between them not knowing which was which. And very happy to see both are manuals. So sick of autos.

Fantastic ride. What time of year is this? I am going to be staying in Sydney (based in Fiji right now for my work) for some medical stuff for my wife in mid March to April - hoping to get up to Manly as I see they have a surf shop where can rent SUPs. How is Manly mid March to early April???

in a world of hybrids and EV's and crossovers, it's really cool to see a brand-new italian mid-engine supercar appear out of nowhere. Glad it was built in the first place, best of luck to maserati with this thing. hope we see more

Under DRS, the car hit 270kph at the 300m braking board for T1!! It's an astonishing car and still looks current despite nearly 10 years old. Still my pick, even over the Senna ;-)

Prollkarre für Irre. Gottseidank bremsen die Spritkosten solche Autos mittlerweile aus. Leider steht jeden Monat ein Crash mit Protzkarren in der Zeitung weil klein M*st*fa das Fahren nicht beherrscht und die von Papi gekaufte Karre an die Wand klatscht.
