Thanks very much for the demos! I watched the first video too- you’re an awesome and inspiring drummer 🤩 Other videos were showing more of a DJ style use so as a (beginner) drummer, it’s been super useful to see what it’s capable of as a portable e-kit. I’m now sold and going to get one to bring to jam at friends places 😎 Will watch your other videos and subscribe too 🙌 You should get sponsorship/commission from Alesis! 😁

Well Tuanngo I DO NOT Think U Have 2 Be "BRAND SPECIFIC" aka (Yamaha Pedal with Yamaha Unit, Roland Pedal With Roland Unit, or Alesis Pedal With Alesis Unit, etc.) For The Most Part NE Pedal From NE Manufacturer Should Work With NE Drum Unit!!! There May Be A Few Quirky 1's Here & There That WILL NOT Work For Some Krazy Reason, But Most Of 2day's Gear Iz Universal..., So Itz Simply "PLUG & PLAY!!!" There Are 1/4 Jacks On The Back Of The Unit, 1 Is For A Hi-Hat Pedal & The Other Iz 4 The Kick Drum Pedal. Just Plug Them In & Away U Go, No Special Programming Required!!!

Can Roland hihat pedal work with Alesis samplepad? Please show how to program hihat open and close on one pad. Thank you
@TheBrotherALJ2 ай бұрын
Yes I Believe The Roland Pedals Will Work With Alesis Samplepad Unit. Sorry, I DID NOT Program The Hi-Hat To Open & Close On 1 Pad. They Are Set Up In The Unit On 2 Separate Pads. 1 Pad Is Closed & The Other Pad Iz Open. When I Play The Closed Hi-Hat Pad It Plays That Sound Regardless Of What I Do With The Pedal. When I Play The Open Hi-Hat Pad I Can Close It With The Foot Pedal The Way A Drummer Would Do Playing It On A Drum Set Would. So Basically, I Hit The Open Hi-Hat Pad 2 Get The Open Hi-Hat Sound & Then Step On The Foot Pedal 2 Close It.

Wow, how the mighty have fallen. I am sad to say this was not what I expected to see, and it is disheartening. Not because we all will lose our youth and get old, but as a performer you must at least try to stay in shape, and as a singer maintain your pipes as best as you can. I see none of that in this video clip. :(

@kennyboman4483: It would be like - if John and George were still alive and seeing The Beatles. No matter how they sounded. They were the background music in many people’s lives. Don’t you have a favorite group or singer that you would see no matter how older they have become ? I still think KC and his group sounded pretty good for how many years have passed since their prime.
@terrytrabell23596 ай бұрын
You obviously have no taste. This music and this group was a Hugh success all through the 70"s. We all went to the clubs white people, black people, gay people, Mexicans, Asians. We did not have mass shootings In our clubs. We went to the same clubs with everyone. None of us brought guns or knifes. No fights broke out. No racist. We did not have mass shootings in our clubs. We didn't have to worry if someone came to the clubs to cause us harm. The music was feel good music. Everyone talked and danced together on the same dance floor. Feel good music was meant to bring everyone together and that's exactly what it did including this song and this group that you called shift. Let me say this, it was some damn good shit
@lilybond64856 ай бұрын
@terrytrabell2359: THAT is exactly how it was. Everyone having a good time. We enjoyed the company of all - no racism - no weapons, etc. This song would come on in the club and everyone got up to dance - it was like a little slice of heaven.
