I'm very glad your still working for us Realtors. Most people have a Union representative or a Union lawyer to get advice. There is no one else looking out for the Real Estate agent. It has always been a big money grab. And believe me other agents will do ANYTHING to get that contract signed, to get the commission away from someone else. The majority consumers have no real idea of what is being done to them by the broker telling the sales agent to just get a sale and "close the deal." OK I've had my rant too. Why didn't the creators of this proposition just draft an altruistic carve out for those that have lost their homes to wildfires(A very small number of people considering the larger market.) instead of using their loss as a smokescreen in order to weaken proposition 13, create a massive tax increase to millions of Californians, and in effect drum up business for realtors? I'll tell you why...because it has very little to do with senior fire victims, and everything to do with a mismanaged state that is desperate for cash, and pressured realtors that are increasingly seeing competition from low commission competitors. If you have any integrity you should vote no on this. Realtor or not.
