Thank you for making this video. I am on the waiting list for GRS Montreal and really wanted to see someone's experiance there and to find a fellow NB getting it is very nice.

Thank you for this video. I am 52 and returning to work today as non-binary. I am hoping my experience is as positive as yours. Work are trying to be supportive but it is the first time the company has had to manage a transition. Like you I'm concerned about my coworkers rather than the management, they are of my generation (mainly) and, like me before my kids came out as NB, I imagine they don't have much knowledge or experience of non-binary people. Tha k you for your story and for taking the time to post it it does make a difference x

You are very cute and androgynous :3 I enjoyed watching your video as I could not find a video before that was relatable regarding my doubts on t. I started t on low dose two months ago, I am confident it is the right thing but some fears pop up sometimes. I am somewhat genderfluid, more comfortable with a masculine expression but some days I look at my feminine perceived shaped face and kinda like it and wonder if I want it to change. This is why I am on low dose though, so I can feel in control of the changes going on. Not any visible change after two months so I'm getting impatient a bit lol but I'm standing by it for now. I want to relieve that voice dysphoria so much. Have you been on low dose for four year or normal dose?
@blackmakup3 жыл бұрын
Omg I just realized your name is pronounced just like iroh from avatar tlab :')
@airohwalker24783 жыл бұрын
Aww thank you! And I totally get those feelings. I am on a regular dose for T. I initially wanted to go to low dose once things started changing or to go completely off after several months to a year when more had happened. Eventually though when I was at my perfect place with my changes, things really slowed down and I decided to stay on to keep the non permanent ones. I am also nervous it wouldn’t work right medically for me to be on low dose because when I started T I did my shot every two weeks but my body would process it too quickly. I would have spikes of estrogen in the days leading up to my shot that gave me mood swings. Honestly thought, if it works for you it does seem like a great way to maintain more control. As far as face change stuff, that was one of the slowest changing things for me and it’s also something that would likely change back significantly if I stopped T, whereas my voice is here to stay regardless. Anyways, I wish you the best luck on your journey!! Thank you for sharing :)

(ENG: They/them, FRA: il, iel) Hey! It's nice to finally see another video from you 💞 I love how you uploaded this video in the midst of my HRT questioning XD The video you reacted to of yourself sounds very similar to my anxiety in regards to testosterone, although I am also worried about whether or not bottom growth would trigger my gender dysphoria. I'm thinking of starting low-dose T with DHT blockers. I keep saying I want to wait until after I get top surgery to try, but my voice and social dysphoria is really starting to weigh a lot on me. Your reaction to your younger self really helped sooth my nerves though. I think I'll try to give T a go, at least until my voice drops. Thank you so much for posting this video 💖

Hey how long did you have to wait to get surgery in Montreal? I’m from Toronto but I believe the wait times might be a lot longer . I have my first appointment to start T on Thursday and I’m 23 FTM if that helps
@airohwalker24784 жыл бұрын
Jess P Its a little complicated to talk about my wait because I had some issues with doctors in the process. I’m from Ontario too, but I have heard that it’s quicker to get into the Montreal clinic than the experienced surgeons in Ontario. GRS Montreal has a policy that if you are getting OHIP covered surgery you will be able to get your surgery within a maximum of 6 months after you get your funding approved (which usually takes a couple months after a doctor approves you).

Question: do you count as transgender if you’re a female to non-binary?
@airohwalker24784 жыл бұрын
PlantFirez transgender just means that someone identifies with a gender different than the one they were assigned at birth. Lots of Nonbinary people identify as trans.
@lavone55414 жыл бұрын
Yes, NB people are part of the trans community. Fun fact: they're the middle of the trans flag.
