I bought one to refinish too, i did aLot of research. Bath coating doesnt last because its not made to withstand cuttlery & pot & pans. I used Ekopel & it looks great! Been using 5 years now.

Yeah, a few years of hard use in and the in-sink part has chipped in a few places. Will look into Ekopel. Everything else is fine, just the area that was already worn down in the original shell that didn't take well.

What type of cabinet did you install it on?

The contractor build a custom piece for it. Nothing fancy, just a surround and support. Lots of storage underneath (we only have a cloth covering in front of the bottom)

I prefer the farmhouse curtains to custom doors and did the same at my house though my project included the doors. I had a lady on Etsy custom make curtains and looked so much cuter.

It's probably looking for a place to lay eggs, that's a snapper and they don't eat greens.

Thanks! It's held up pretty well - a little in the sink part proper needs some love, but that's what four kids beating on it will do!

Good except one point in the basin where I apparently did not get all the rust removed, so I've got a small crack there. Will Dremel it out this winter and patch that area after treating with some loctite rust treatment. Patch the size of a quarter.

Nice video. A few of suggestions… Remove the title after the introduction. We want to see everything you’re doing, but the text on the screen is distracting. And two, possibly give a voice over. And three, give more angles so that everything doesn’t seem to be one dimensional. I’m looking forward to more content and watching your channel grow!

that is a big blade. Looks like it is well sharpened. Thanks for doing this
@sfumatofarm
@sfumatofarm Жыл бұрын
no problem! It's the largest blade I have and is meant for grass without much in the way of brush or other impediments to mowing. I have shorter blades, down to a 12" chopping blade to handle brush and even small saplings. Very versatile tool!

Make sure you get all that rust off on the porcelain side especially. Have one hot spot popping up that I need to redo now.

Thats crazy.... I would have cut myself a donzen times in the head ..lol. That blade is huge.
@sfumatofarm
@sfumatofarm 4 жыл бұрын
it's quite difficult to get the blade swinging towards you when you're holding it with both hands. IN between the field and the barn is the biggest opportunity for a nick. There's a plastic sheath that covers just the blade itself that I typically use if I'm walking any significant distance with it.
