I have a couple of Millie Marotta books, I find the paper quite difficult as it's so smooth as you mentioned. I've been trying to work out which pencils work best.

I am still watching but had to comment.. LOVE the way you colour leaves and there are so many in her books 😂, also very cohesive palette , very enjoyable seeing it alltogether.. i do not even have the book but i am already considering how to “copy” you in other maria trolle pages ❤

This is great book I love Melpomeni books and your page turns very pretty out. I love panda bear they looking so cute. I have so many favorite artist books Hanna K. Johanna B. and of course Melpomeni C books. And now I have new favorite Rita Berman books they looking awesome art work Rita Berman Books.

When I use paint pens my pages look scratchy and not smooth. Idk understand what I’m doing wrong. Yours looks smooth and very nice!

Wow, these Markers are interesting 😍 I would love to mix my own colours with them, didn‘t know that this is even possible! And one time i have to try Luminance pencils…But they are sooo expensive 😢 Have fun with your new supplies ❤😊

Hi Amanda, I really like your Eriy page with the cactus and guy! It looks good!! Ok the Snowman on the beach is lovely!!! I think it is so fun!!! Ohhh your lady with the balloons, it is just beautiful!!! The little girls on the dock with the water is just as lovely!!! How fun!!! I like the barns with the sunflowers also! The beach page is so pretty! I love the frog and his shorts!!! The little girl with the jug is so nice and very relaxing I think! Your sunflower lady is very nice!!!😊 the mermaid is hysterical!! The Mandela in Johanna’s book is very nice!!! The birds with the beach is just something!!! The fairies pg is awesome!!! The dragon fruit dragon is so cute!! The flamingo is adorable!! Wow Amanda, your pages are just awesome!! The little mouse is so sweet!! I also really like the deer! I remember you showing your girl on the rock and the butterfly girl, they are lovely! Ohh the cat page is so simple but pretty! So is the little girl on the vine! I like the one like the front cover… I like the princess!! And the robin! I like the hummingbird page and the girl/deer page. I liked the two 11:49 deer pg too! Oohh the next cat pg is lovely!!! And I really like the girl with all the hair! I like them little dragon! I like the bird house pg too!! Then the squirrel is fun!! I like the double pg spread it is lovely!! The next two are very nice also….Oh the little pink dragon is so cute!!! I really like the castle pg, I like the muted colors!! I like the deer and the pink clouds!! And the little girls on the next pg I think is nice! I find too that the hybrid gel pens do loose their shine. I don’t understand why? I like the leaf ball pg too!! The pink flowers on the next pg I think is pretty! The red poppy pg is so pretty!! They jump off the pg…i like the muted colors too and the pink flower next also!!! Oh the sleeping cat pg is so sweet, it is simple and sweet. I like the butterfly pg too! Oh I like the purple dragon pg but I also like the yellow dragon too !!! Fun on those two! I love the octopus pg so much! And the vine girl on the next pg is very nice! I like it as vines instead of hair! Oh I like the purple castle and the green hair mermaid!! Yes the purple girl is fun as is the overall girl! Oh the bunny pg is so sweet! And I like the next pg! Oh I like the limited color pallet!! I think you can’t have a masterpiece on every pg!! Oh my goodness I like the pink dragons!!! It is so fun!! Oh the deer pg is very nice!! I think my favorite is the Octopus page!!! Wow you have done a super job and I am so glad to see all your pgs!!! Thanks for sharing!!

Wat een leuke video, ik heb genoten van je mooie platen. Het valt me op dat je veel je acryl paint pens gebruikt voor de achtergrond, heb ik nog nooit gedaan maar ga ik zeker proberen, ziet er zo mooi uit. Ik hoop nog veel video’s van je mooie werk te kunnen zien, dank je wel 👍😃

De tip van de gesso is een hele goede. Heb je ook al eens gesso clear gebruikt zodat de oorspronkelijke kleur niet lichter wordt?
