J'aime beaucoup Lynn Harrell, le violoncelliste, mais je préfère le Beaux Arts Trio avec le piano si sensible et profond de Menahem Pressler. Mais c'est trés beau, juste un peu trop martial à mon goût.

Quel gâchis de couper la vidéo en plein milieu du dernier mouvement !!!!!! Et pourquoi ?!?!?! C'est une des plus magistrales interprétation de cette sonate stratosphérique !!!! Quel immense ARTISTE !!!

Terrible. Too quiet, too fast, too Mozart or Bach like. Notes can't say what they have to say. Barenboim is 10 times better, or even Ashkenazy.

I too only recently discovered this incredible piece performed by a very old Vlado Perlemuter. It is in total contrast to Hamelin's which is a tour de force in exquisite dreamlike pianissimos. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/i9CWfZt5lc3Zf2g.html

2:45 or so has an audio artifact and it ruins this recording. This is so fucking tragic! And that sometimes even amazing recording equipment does that is fucking infuriating.

Where is the rest of the 4th movement? Why the video isn't complete? So it is impossible to mesure the exact speed of the first fugue and to hear if he really manages the prescripted speed of 144 Mälzel like HJ Lim does!
