Phillips was Man of the Match by a clear margin. Such an intelligent footballer. Real shame it hasn't worked out for him at City. Bobb was disappointing last night after looking so good in previous games, but he's young, not a criticism of him.

As a Turk in the UK I can say that us Turkish people are quite pleased with how accurately the show portrays the diversity of people and lifestyles/cultures and beliefs that exist in our mad and beautiful homeland. I agree it is nothing special story wise, however it is fantastic seeing the BBC film and devote their time to a series which accurately represents us and our diversity so well! Appreciate the review and look forward to watching more

This movie was awesome. I saw it in IMAX and the entire experience was facinating. Love Joe and Pupita, they did an excellen job. Much better than the first two Quiet Place movies. Go see it!

I have the feeling that you rather thankfully erased the details of the series from your mind after your initial viewing and review, but I did have such mixed feelings about it. I wanted to see if I was being overly critical or if someone else had some of the same issues. I stumbled across it on Amazon and ended up watching it in three sittings. I was also knitting at the time, so rather like you, I suspect that I quickly found out that I could follow along without giving it my complete attention. The trailer had definitely emphasized the quirky relationship between Marina and Hector, and I did enjoy that. I found it distracting to be watching the actors since the dub wasn't matching their lip movements, and there were more than a few times when the subtitles weren't matching what they were actually saying. It just had a few too many fake out endings for me, oh this is the killer. No no this is the killer. No no this time this is really, really the killer. And yet after the third episode I kept thinking, it's very obvious at this point who the real killer is, and I think the actor's whole performance was telegraphing it. But then there would be a whole new 45 minutes of misdirection. So then I began to think, maybe they're being really clever and setting up another red herring. But no, that's who the real killer was. And I'm usually very disappointed if I do figure out who the killer is, whether it be a movie, TV show or book. I also thought the two different men, other than the butler, who were helping her were so similar in appearance that sometimes if I didn't pay a little more attention I wouldn't know which was which. All in all, it was a pleasant thing to have on in the background. Honestly, I think some of the best parts were the animated titles at the beginning of each episode, which actually portrayed a lot of what was going to happen in the episode.
