Nice reaction. Self harm cutting to express the inexpressible pain and frustration. Sounds like Ren is accepting of his role to speak for the voiceless. He is fulfilling his promise made to himself and the community. There arw videos out there of him so thin and weak and rxpecting to die. I wish him strength to deal with the ongoing challenges he faces.

I have listened to Rens spoken word telling of his sickness He was being poetic saying the kiss of cold steel It was in fact a shard of broken glass. He cut himself which was self harm in his frustration with his illness For some reason many American reactors have heard this as a suicide attempt. Confusing the steele for a gun maybe? He already had a music career he was signed to a label but the lyme disease cut him down and he couldnt complete his Album with Sony His Chapters 1 to 8 are on Renmakesstuff if you want to listen to the full story He made this song to keep a promise to those with autoimmunity who are trapped in bed unable to have normal lives Ren promised if he recovered his health and career enough he would raise awareness of the millions MISSING and the need for more help from the medical community Like what you said about Job Ren has an old song called Patience from when he was first ill you could react to. Or maybe the Acoustic version of Troubles it came out recently and is beautiful

Tom has lived in the US for 10 years and he recently completed becoming a US citizen. He donated to US veterans way before his application for citizenship was approved. This is his chosen home and he immigrated here legally. He has every right to comment on US politics and social-issues. He didn't diss anyone in particular. He threw all of his haters in a single bucket and then truth-nuked them all at once with 8.5 minutes of solid bars with no hooks and multiple flow-switches. 😁

It's his style. He speaks the truth. Why do you hate him? This is the first video of yours I've seen and I'm kinda disappointed with you.

It seems like once a year a bunch of rappers come out with diss tracks against Tom. He said he would not do disses anymore like 5 years ago so he comes out with a song that kind of addresses everyone that talk shit about him. And that’s why Tom wins

Tom is different, he doesn't have to do Rap Battles to be a Rapper, he's his own boss in his own lane, making music he wants when he wants, from Rap to alternative Country to Alt Rock to Pop. #HOG UK showing up

The original "Back on 74" released by Jungle last year was about nostalgia for past times spent on a 74th avenue or street. Ren's retake makes it about the year 1974. That change helps to connect it with the other 70s track in the retake, "Message in a Bottle", which was released by The Police on their 1979 album "Reggatta de Blanc" (White Reggae).
