That’s a great pattern for hand stitching. I can’t use a hoop either, I put mine on a table and hand quilt it .😊

We are loathe to offer advice sight unseen, however, if you have cleaned all the possible thread jam out of the machine, have you tried turning it off let sit for 10 full seconds and then turned back on?

Hover over the video then click on the gear and pick the speed playback that works for you. We think Barb is more acerbic and love that about her.

That's really cute! Instead of using bias tape (for the side, at least) wouldn't it be easier to do a French seam? I find bias tape to be finicky sometimes.
