Paragould is my childhood home and has always been the place where my most cherished memories were made. My mother and several of my closest relatives still live in Paragould. I was watching live streams and checking the radar when that tornado went through Paragould and the entire time, my heart stopped beating and my breathing had stopped. Once it moved on past and my mother told me that she was safe, my heart started beating again and my lungs started breathing again. I’m so incredibly relieved that nobody was seriously injured or killed last night. This tornado season has been so much more intense and the frequency has been so abnormally high. I’ll be glad when it’s over.
