My parents went to Barcelona, they had a great time because they were on a cruise ship, they also went to Corsica, France, and they brought me back two purses and a postcard from their trip to Europe, they said it was so beautiful in Barcelona, Spain, but I loved my presents so much.

Can the Airbus A330neo-800 fly non stop from LAX to SYD ?

That's a good question 😅. I don't think so, I believe that's just above their max range. Delta does use the A330-900neo from Seattle to Taipei which I believe is the longest route that aircraft type operates. That route is like a 12-13 hours while LAX to SYD is usually 14-16 hours.

The Airbus A330 NEO in an awesome aircraft for passenger comfort. I always try and fly with a company that uses it. 2-4-2 is so much better than 3-3-3 or 3-4-3.

Awesome trip report. That's one of the best 1-hour flights out their. First, you got a big B777-300ER with all the amenities that you could get on a much longer flight. Secondly, they even served a breakfast.

It is amazing how people adapt and lower their expectations after many years of abuse from US airlines. They are so amazed with an extra inch of legroom in a seat that has slimmed down to the bones and for a meal that they would easily pass on for the price. These airlines continue to get away with so many things that diminish the passenger experience while charging more for the privilege to get services that should be the norm for a major airline. And so unfortunate that many good airlines from smaller countries around the world follow what the American airlines are doing and become bad experiences in the process. It is time that passengers force the congresss reps to pressure these airlines to return to a time when we had reasonable baggage allowances instead of the hefty fees, adequately padded and sized seats that befit a person sitting for hours on an aircraft, ample legroom for all passengers instead of forcing them to pay for a basic comfort on a plane, and food rules for flights in excess of specific hours. The list goes on. But it is a political thing needed to solve this and flyers have to band toeger to get their government representatives to take up these matters in congress.

Hi did you check in a bag? Were they strict with the weight? How would you rate the overall flight from one to ten?

Hi there! In my personal experience Delta isn’t really strict if it’s a few pounds over for checked bag allowance which is 50lb/23kg. It honestly depends on the person who checks you in. However when it comes to cabin baggage they are not at all strict in terms of size or weight like most other airlines are. Hope that helps!
