This concert was only weeks before Nez passed. He seems happy, strong and without pain. I wanted to note how touching it is to see him acknowledge Peter as Micky introduces For Pete's Sake. I'd never seen him do that before. And now Nez you're with him.

I was a fan from the very first show in 1966. Saw them in Wembley and laid siege to their hotel - the Royal Garden Hotel in Kensington, where we nearly got arrested for storming the underground car park. Glory days. Peter was always my favourite but loved all their music. So sad it's only Micky left.

I saw Mike and Mickey on this final tour. I came as a fan of 60s music, not as a fan of the Monkees specifically. I expected a good, light-hearted time listening to some teeny-bopper music, I did NOT expect to be so deeply moved. I teared up at that show. I very recently have become a bigger fan of them, and that intro to and performance of While I Cry makes me well up still.

If you were 5 years old in 1966 you might bring back some childhood memories. For anyone else Don't waste your time, it sucks, Mickey is living in a dream world. They didn't write the three hits they had, didn't even play instruments. They were hired as actors for a sitcom copying the Beatles. If you want to see clips of these stooges from the 1966 sitcom for 90 minutes go see it!

This is such a wonderful and poignant show with Micky and " The Nez" that you shared with us " Believers " here. Keep all the boys gone in your memories enjoy their music and please support our " Lone Ranger " Micky in not only carrying on the legend of his colleagues The Monkees, but support him in his many solo works that he continues to this day.

Growin' up in Wayne, Michigan in the 60's I had 3 obsessions: The Tigers, Dark Shadows, and The Monkees. Can't believe how much time has gone. Simply can not believe it. Gold Rings on everyone.

I just saw this show in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan. 4-21-23. What a great tribute to his friends. Great band and still a great voice at 78 years old. I am so glad I got to see this show. Monkees forever!

11:47 - Mike Nesmith’s tribute video 28:47 - Davy Jones’ tribute video Peter Tork’s tribute video in act 2 Last year I didn’t make it to the concert, because well it’s a long story to explain. I met Micky at Warren, Ohio at a concert, but during the intermission, my mom was really ill and we have to leave. I was really disappointed that I have to leave. But at least I have fun and met him for the first time.

I’m so very happy that Mike finally realized how amazing the Monkees really were, and how much impact he and his fellow bandmates had on several generations of fans and the impact of rock and roll music in general. I put them up there with the Beatles. We all know that for years a part of him resented being a part of the Monkees, which is why he rarely toured with them. I’m so grateful he opened his eyes before the end and in his words, according to Micky, “I get it now!” I think he felt a sense of pride being such a significant part of music history. I wish I could have seen him and Micky in this final tour. RIP Mike, Peter and Davy. Happy Birthday Micky 🎂 and hope you are with us for many more years to come. ♥️

Pool it! is such a great album, some of their best tracks ever. I love Midnight especially - Micky's greatest vocal ever -certainly one of them. Yes, we need anniversary editions of that. I'm not as big a fan of Justus, but I know it has it's fans. Some good tracks. I rarely ever play it tho.
