Is that a thing? Can you not use Just Desserts if your opponent doesn't have a monster? I have never heard of that and it doesn't specify in the card as an activation requirement.

Who besides exodia players run reload. That reload literally killed his hand. He could summoned tsuk then bls atk or banish. Instead drew battle traps and during his turn drew another reload smh.

Common mistake a see is summoning fortress by discarding fortress. Fortress is level 7 and thus cannot be used alone to summon fortress.

I remember this format. At first it was confusing for judges on ruling but after awhile it got fun but super toxic when someone summoned towers. I always had no problem facing this deck cuz I played fire king/fire fist control during this time frame.

Opponent misplayed game 1 at 13:35. He should have won. Solemning the first secret barrel guarantee game. He's at 3900 you're at 750. He start the chain with ring on tomato for 1400, you chain barrel with a potential 2000 damage. He solemn in response paying 1950. He is at 1950. You cannot chain the second barrel because solemn is spell speed 2. Ring resolves, he goes down to 550. You go down to 0 before being able to secret barrel. GG

As a reminder, back in HAT monsters with inherent special summons could be summoned from grave despite necrovalley. Stuff like Glow-up Bulb, Plaguespreader zombie or Blackwing - Zephyros could bypass it no problem. This indeed includes artifacts, and the only reason necrovalley isn't more popular in HAT is because of not allowing you to use soul charge.
