You can use Purina! It would work nicely in the chumboss!

Recommendations! Try dynamite, it worked in Virginia, but they won’t let me fish there anymore, they said it made the boaters nervous 😂😂😂😂

I was the 2nd owner of that boat. the boat was custom built in Alabama and was in very bad shape when I brought it. I extended the boat length with the pods, and the motor was rebuilt. the trolling motor set up was a disaster, but looks like you got it on right. I guided with the boat for about 8 years and started to leak. Henry & Cindy Kline restored the hull and painted to new condition. I have very fond memories of that old crawfish boat. was in a few bad storms with that boat, had put a rule 2000 gph bilge pump put in and I am glad I did ! I sold that boat to a young fellow around 2017 in chazz just saw my old boat on the you tube! lot of history behind that old boat!

Just know we have also caught Large Shark using the Micro-Chum! They have an incredible sense of smell! We Take off the "DFV" (Dispenser Floatation Vest), cast it out and let it sink to the bottom or downline it (if the water is deep enough) and have landed some huge shark, cobia, Reds, Trout, sheep head just to name a few! Micro-Chum omits micro Amino Acids, Fats, Protein's and much more! It's like having a "Chinee Buffet" for fish! Fresh or Saltwater, doesn't matter! The Inline Dispenser can be used with so many different rigs as well! Bobber, Down liner, Bottom and even as a lure slow trolling! DaBootBait LLC

Are they a light hoat and how fast do you run
@estuaryadventures2 ай бұрын
This boat was 3/16 thick so it was very heavy and it was on an old go devil long tail so top suited was about 15 mph.it was slow but would go anywhere

Stumbled across your channel. I know the waters you're running as I grew up near Ozello. I was a Divemaster and took people snorkeling with the manatees in the winter in Crystal River. I subscribed to your channel. I'll always call that area home.

Could you explain a little about your setup in catching those reds? Looks like you were using a popping cork. Were you using live bait? Shrimp? Or were you working a lure beneath it?
@estuaryadventures4 ай бұрын
Absolutely brother! Believe it or not we were just using this popping cork as a regular bobber and letting it drift around this little caldasack.we weren't popping them or anything. The redfish were simply just waiting for the shrimp to float by and they were hitting them

I’m about to have a boat custom made. I really want a 2060 40hp SD but I seen a video saying it barely gets on plane. I’m thinking 1854 flat or 1856 duck boat. Anyone help me out? I don’t want it to struggle and I’m not trying to beat a gator tail. But I want to get up and go where I want but also have room to blowfish duck hunt and just enjoy a lake day.
@estuaryadventures5 ай бұрын
My 20x60 gets on plane extremely fast, like literally under 2 seconds.. but mud boats are all about weight.. the more weight you have the more it struggles. Like last weekend I had 4 guys all over 250lbs and all my fishing gear.. it took the boat a few seconds to get up but once it did get up it was good to go! Deep water is a big factor as well! Flat bottoms do they're best in under a foot of water
@dalefair40386 ай бұрын
Well you know my deal. I like just being out on the water. Strictly catch and release. Now that I’ve bought a new boat I’m going to play with new technology “Active Target” to find fish and their trends. To me I just want to be able to locate the fish methodically and catch and release. Hopefully we can go out together to do scouting or if you have a large group that wants to go out and you can’t take the whole group on your boat we can play tag along.
