my challenge will be the ones I have that sort of angle down to the narrower bottom for cup holders. I see people just doing the top but I want my design to cover most of it in length. so I need to see how I can get the stencil on with those more drastically tapered ones. .

I have a craft fair in 2 weeks -- have to get going on this very cute idea! I've done canvas cubes that are 6"x6" and 1.5" deep with napkin art for a number of holidays. Loved how they turned out, and working with the napkins is quite easy. Now I have a technique to use up some of those napkins I collected previously!!

Is the red paper a scrapbook weight paper?
@DailyDoseofDIYКүн бұрын
Yes, it took a little more glue to stick well, and it didn't work as well when I put it on the back side, I had to hot glue it down in a few spots, but it was still doable.

This was adorable and not nearly as daunting as I thought it would be. Could I use Mod Podge instead of the Decoupage Glue?
@DailyDoseofDIYКүн бұрын
Yes, that will work too!

8:29 -- Fliping the flaps up made this craft so magical! I can see this being done completely with paper for a junk journal cover. 🤩✨

Awesome video! I am seeing the areas where I taped on the image at the top and across the seams. I'm using 18.5 sublimation tumblers from Michaels, A-Sub sublimation paper, image printed using Epson Ecotank 2800 using Hippoo sublimation inks, and a Gigu tumbler heat press. The image is uneven and faded you can see where the tape had been applied to the top,, bottom and seam. The heat press is set at 366 degrees for 70 seconds, turned 180 degrees, then another 70 seconds. Do you have any suggestions?
@DailyDoseofDIY4 күн бұрын
Have you gotten good tumblers with that press before. If you can tell where the tape was applied I Might try a different brand tape, then I would assume it’s a heat press issue
