Does wrapping the scapula make you externally rotate shoulder? Or should it be an isolated movement?

Nice tutorial. You really should put aerial straps or travel aerial straps in your title. It was really hard to find this video.

Great Idea and great program! These should be a staple tool to stay healthy and fit for any gymnast, aerialist, dancer, performer etc. Even a great tool for the average gym goer looking to increase their shoulder/back strength and health.

Great video! I've been stuck at tuck lifts forever, and with straight legs I can't really even get nicely to 90 degree hold and nowhere near a full lift without swinging into it. Are the alternating ones easier or harder? I would think they are easier from a core strength perspective, but harder for a flexibility/mobility perspective, thats why I was trying to understand the progression.

Yes! Finally someone laid it out for me! Was looking for the proper way of just hanging for long time. I wonder how the scap position should be changing for the back arm in one arm side planche 👌

I think that'll be a stretch for me with straight legs, but I'll give it a go with a straddle tomorrow! Thanks for posting
@aerialfitnessbodies3384 жыл бұрын
Rob Silver start with the straps lower so the feet can touch the floor just for safety. Train the flag and back planche in a wide straddle to make the positions lighter & easier to control.
