Do they perfom examination for color blindness that day? If they do if you have color blind ness will that affect you?
@Tiny.travels24 күн бұрын
Hi, they do check for color vision and if you do fail that test it may stand on your way to become a cabin crew. Many of the indications in the cabin are sound and color related(different chimes and colors determining what is happening). You’ll be also asked before your medical exam(medical history form) if you do have color blindness.

Hi! I'm not sure whether you can help!! We've got an 11hrs layover and we're given a layover hotel by the airline! However, we'd like to take a tour and we don't really need the hotel but it is mandatory in order to be granted a 24hrs visa. My question is, do we need to check-in at the hotel even though we're not going to stay there?

Hi Marta, you mentioned in previous videos you used to work for Wizz. Was this in UAE as well? I am also thinking to join either Wizz or Etihad, I am joining open days for both. Since you have experienced both what are the main pros and cons of each? Thank you in advance!
@Tiny.travelsАй бұрын
Hi Maria, it is a very different type of flying so in the end I think it will come down to what type of aviation career you are looking for. If you want to travel and see a lot of cool places, I would choose Etihad. You will def see the world, but at a cost of being away, sometimes even for days and often even feel tired of it. BUT I do have an amazing opportunity to visit all the places I've never even thought I'm gonna see in my life. Etihad is a big big company so you mostly work with people you've just met. It can be great as you meet so many new people but I do sometimes miss looking at my schedule and knowing all the names. In Wizz, which is much smaller, we knew each other and the crew was the exciting part of coming to work :) less exciting was knowing we won't be staying at the destinations(most of the time). So if you do want to join aviation to travel, I would go for the airline with many layovers, but if that's not your goal Wizz also offers a great work environment and amazing people to work with. However, during my time at Wizz, most of my travels were on my days off using my employee tickets, and not as currently on layovers. Nowadays, both companies offer good and fast career progress as well. So after all I think it depends on what are your expectations :)

Hello marta I hope i pronounced your name correctly I have assessment day with etihad Pls assime with the questions they asled you on your interview,tips and advice i can use to pass Thank you
@Tiny.travelsАй бұрын
Hi there :) Congrats on making it to that stage ✨ I made a video a while ago about all the questions I got during my interview :) I think the most important is to be yourself during the interview as it is very easy to sound robotic if you prepare for it for a long time. In Etihad, a personal approach is important and as much as you have to be professional you also have to remain human. So, show your personality, be kind to everyone there, smile and if you get any scenario to solve remember that although it is on a piece of paper, what I think they want to see is a professional but also human approach :) I hope that helps 💖 Good luck!

@tiny.travels Is chewing gum on board allowed? Also is there any size restrictions when it comes to smart watches(44-46mm, etc) And which straps are allowed? Leather ones or anything is fine? Which colors as well?
@Tiny.travels2 ай бұрын
hi, the chewing gum is not allowed :) and regarding the watch, it depends on the color you own - if the case is let's say gold, the strap should be the same color but for certain colors we can wear black or brown straps as well :)
@basselboss552 ай бұрын
@Tiny.travels Hi, thank you for the valuable info. How about the size, tho? Is 46 mm allowed? And there's any size restrictions over all?
@Tiny.travels2 ай бұрын
@@basselboss55 from what i understand, there are no specific size restriction for apple watch, there are some regarding the color of the watch and the strap, and the size restrictions for the non-smart watches(in diameter 4 cm for female and 5 cm for male crew). Anyway before you start flying you will have a special training day to learn all the information and have the opportunity to show your watch and see if it is allowed if there are still any doubts :)

4:32 The white cotton like stuff floating in the air is populus seeds, when mature, they are dispersed by wind in a way that involves cotton-like fibers known as catkins. While the poplar fluff is airborne, it can sometimes cause inconvenience, such as triggering allergic reactions or affecting air quality. The problem is caused by huge amount of populus planted in Beijing thirty or fouty years ago in a effort to fight sand storm. The government is taking measures to fix the problem but effect should take time.
