Great stuff Elvis! Do you still happen to have that chipper? If you do can you take some video of the chipper blades and a little walk around? I just purchased one and I am starting to rebuild it. Only thing I know is that it looks like a FMC Wayne chipper with a 360. Much appreciated keep up the good hard work 💪

Mine will chip dry wood like candy , but clogs up the chute on green wood ?? How close should the clearances of blades be to the cutting edge ? Mine is a Andsplund 1975 model year

How do you unjam a chipper if the wood is too big and causes it to stall? Back in the 60's, I saw an Asplundh get stalled by a large log.

Not a mechanic, but from what I've seen you have 2 options - A) with the engine off try pulling the log out and restarting. B) Lockout/tagout the whole machine and disconnect spark plug and tension on the blades. Then open it up and cleaer the jam.
