I'm not an expert, but your propeller thing does not seem to be turning fast enough. You might want to check that before adding anymore weight.
@mark-ish
@mark-ish Күн бұрын
Indeed, you've proved you're definitely not an expert. The 'propeller thing' is called a rotary wing. And the frame rate of the video distorts the perceived revolution of the wing. Stick to what you know.

Is it safe flying in a helicopter ? With so many accidents that result in majority of fatalities, instead of survival, do you believe many of these crashes could have been avoided ?
@sinfulldoubt
@sinfulldoubt 5 күн бұрын
Many of them can be avoided, just like most accidents in other aspects of life. It's hard to say it's fully safe flying a helicopter though, there's always risks involved. We just have to mitigate them as best we can

On average, how many round trips before you have to refuel?
@sinfulldoubt
@sinfulldoubt 11 күн бұрын
Umm it's been a bit since I've done this but if I remember right, each leg burned about 50-75 lbs depending on wait time. So with the typical 500 lb fuel load, I'd take about 6 legs before I'd grab fuel. But if I had a while between legs, I'd just top it off again

@sinfulldoubt

I honestly can't remember. They were lower than we would ever fly in. Typically we wanted 1500-2k foot ceilings for tours. Charters I would be comfortable down to about 1k feet before it wasn't worth the risk
