@anto11b if you join my discord I have my setup there. These cars have also been modified from the original v8corsa ones by AK and are probably 1-2 secs faster. A good time on the original mod would be 2:04-05

Nothing like iRenting - didn't have to pay to use content you've already purchased ;) But in terms of physics this 20 year old game still sh!ts on WRC/Dirt/AC Rally

@@happilyaverageracer Oh yeah great, I just thought of that considering the oh so good physics, that's why I'll never use Iracing, I definitely want a simulator that has official (including Australian and NZ) race tracks and has all V8 Supercars ranging from 1993-present and many other categories like NASCAR, BTCC, DTM and GT racing, with great crash physics too, and online play too! All purchased once and never repaying again and again. That's the simulator I want.

Hey mate that's a weird one. So yeah as long as you have PU mode in Qual (or whatever you choose) and have the Deploy strat mapped on the track menu it should deploy. Only thing I can think is the strat actually selected when you jump in the car ( for example I use strat 3 but maybe yours is defaulting to start 1 or something with no deploy🤷)

Change the steering wheel to no.6 in the car setup options. It's the Williams version

I tried the new “Rally stage” quick drive, and Co-pilot app on AC today. It works great, big improvement for rally in AC. Tarmac stages feel good, gravel has improved a little bit. It’s no RBR though.

Yeah can only imagine the thrill of doing it for real over the top of the mountain, 2 wheels in the dirt!! Mental!! A lot is in the setup with Assetto and you have to NOT touch the brakes from the exit of the Cutting all the way to Skyline

Are you also using the SS tyre? It's worth at least 3 secs per lap

@@happilyaverageracer Yeah I do, I mostly struggle however when it comes down to the parts after the Skyline all to the way to Forest Elbow, I get scared to accelerate too much because the car is so slippery and the corners are tight as, it's ridiculous

Hey mate thanks for that! I've got the link for these mods in the description. V8corsa do these older cars like the FGX and VF commodore plus some newer cars. Gen 3 v8 supercars currently has only one option from BCRC via their patreon (search my channel for Gen 3 videos) Then for proper retro stuff there is Assetto Car & Track Database via Patreon which has everything back to the 60s

@@happilyaverageracer Ahha, I was just asking in case anyway, I've had to restart my steam with a new account altogether for reasons so I don't have Assetto Corsa right now, but I do have an old but good V8 Supercars game I got online which you can easily see on my profile, PS2 days! Had no facial hair back then and I used to have my mates over every Bathurst 1000, this year we plan to do that all over again despite our grey hairs!

I remember being very excited years ago when Glenn Setons Falcon made it into Gran Turismo lol

@@happilyaverageracer Oh absolutely, The AU Falcon is straight up adorable to me, I was absolutely ecstatic when I saw on advertisements there would be a V8 Supercar game that allowed you to compete in the championship, Toca Race Driver was the name worldwide, it's a solid game, bit of a bloody unbalanced mess with a cliché story mode though, but racing Falcons and Commodores across the country were so worth the money, I still play the game today, I'm suprised I haven't got hearing aids yet from all that V8 noise. Anyway cheers mate, I hope this event you're in grants you victory.

Are you talking about camera movement? Should be in the video options section to turn down g-force movement, look to apex and lateral movements

@@happilyaverageracer when hit the bump the world is moving(up and down) not the car and it gives a sense of speed but with blur disturbing vision.

Yeah I still think that's probably something to do with camera settings, maybe the 'lock to horizon's option is worth a play with ?

@@happilyaverageracer tried that, car is bouncing while the world is ok then if tuen it off the world is bouncing😅…it seems like most people are used to it, I see it in your video too. I guess this is how ac is.

@mlondipraiseworth3223 yeah to be honest it's not something I even notice. It's probably exaggerated in an F1 car as the ride would be quite bumpy considering how low and stiffly sprung they are
