To be honest, these days I’d recommend just ordering some jump cups. For example, a.co/d/aV4gbmZ . In this build, the most dangerous aspect was sawing those Ts to turn into jump cups.

This was a good. video. But I can’t find tees without stops in them. I have been to big box stores, specialty plumbing store. Where do you explain to get the Tees? Thanks

Your tractor weighs just over 3,500 lbs. Unless the trailer weighs 7,500 you're nowhere near pushing the limits of a truck that has 11,000 lbs of towing capacity
@artillerybuff20006 ай бұрын
Nice job! Looks like you're way under your truck's 11k tow rating which is great, probably only around 65-70% of capacity. I have been towing trailers with various loads for decades and always set my trailers up with a tongue scale to get it precisely between 10-15% on the hitch, no guessing. Nothing worse than getting a big load all tied down and find you're either way light or way heavy on the hitch, not safe either. Thanks for the video!

The 4210 with the loader might weigh 5000 lbs max. How much does that trailer weigh?
@ChrisHuybregts8 ай бұрын
Unsure it's exact weight. My buddy I borrowed it from uses it to pull a Takuchi Skid Steer Loader plus forestry mulcher head. Weight capacity was way over what I needed it for, but having the length was sure nice!
@vikingrobot4179 Жыл бұрын
Dumb question but did you use a brake controller for the trailer brakes? I’m looking for a trailer set up for my Branson 2515 with loader and rim guarded tires. It’s pushing about 3500# tractor alone. The only thing I have to pull it is a 2007 Ford E250 work van that does a great job hauling a ton of firewood but never anything this heavy. I know I’ll at least need good trailer brakes and a good trailer and brake controller. I’ll need it for two properties each are 11 miles from my house in either direction , Appalachian foothills. Not sure if my rig would handle this but welded on tow loops are the way to go.
@ChrisHuybregts Жыл бұрын
My F150 has the "tow package" that does include a break controller and I'd be concerned pulling so much weight with such a light vehicle without it. I can't remember the style of brakes on this specific trailer, but, pulling the load was the easy part, stopping it was definitely a much nicer experience having the trailer doing a large part of the work! My load was closer to 10k though (likely pushing 12+k with the trailer work). Check your state's requirements. 3,500 lbs load may require trailer brakes/brake controllers regardless, but even if it doesn't, having them do add piece of mind!

For sure! It's amazing how quickly things can go wrong but also how quickly you become more sensitive to it when you run a "big" machine (hey, it's a big tractor for me!). Thank you for the comments!
@dave7443 Жыл бұрын
Nice tractor!!! You will find your truck and trailer will ride a lot nicer when your trailer is level with the ground. Next time don’t pull as far forward on the trailer. All good!!! I can’t wait you see you put your tractor to work on your property. Cheers!!!
@ChrisHuybregts Жыл бұрын
Thanks! I can't wait to use it. As for the trailer, yeah, that's a lot of weight for that half ton! On the asphalt it did look level, on our field, not so much! Fingers crossed I don't need to tow it again, but seeing as I'm expecting to use it, I'm sure I'll break something at some point that will require me to take it back to the shop.

I noticed when I printed out the pleating template that you have A2 marked twice. I belive the second one, just below B3 is supposed to be A3, correct? Anyway, that is how I marked mine. Just thought you might like to know so you can change it. Some people might be confused by it. Just saying.

Hello: I downloaded patterns just fine. There are no stops in the design with this one. It starts at downloading the outline and continues to the end. What could be the problem? I have the Janome 500E with JEF. Please help. I am ready to make mask. Thank you,
@ChrisHuybregts4 жыл бұрын
Sorry Emma, that's likely to be an issue with the file from Urban Threads. I think if you reach out to their support contacts they'll be able to help you. For my brother, a thread color change is what stops the pattern at the various stages.

Just another question: Can you share how to take the embroidery machine back to sewing ?
@ChrisHuybregts4 жыл бұрын
Sorry I have never done that myself. I have a cheap $99 singer sewing machine. Looking through the manual though, it should be as simple as swapping the foot. And having the embroidery base disconnected. I found a digital version of the Manuel here: support.brother.com/g/b/sp/manualtop.aspx?c=us&lang=en&prod=hf_inov4500deus

Thank you for sharing 👍🏻 I’m very new to my embroidery PE800 haven’t used yet but would love to create these face mask your video is very clear step by step👍🏻 maybe you can help with this question how do I upload this pattern to my machine and as you mentioned the website has for the pattern which one pes not sure? Thank you again
@ChrisHuybregts4 жыл бұрын
Great Question! There's two things here, one is how to copy the design and the other is, which design is supported by the PE800. The PE800 has a max hoop size of 5"x7" which is going to limit you to the children's size facemask with this pattern as the Adult size requires a 6"x10" hoop. Don't fret, the children's size mask is actually perfect for my wife, so give it a try! Knowing this, you're going to want to download the PES file of the smaller size from UrbanThreads. That'll get you a file named UTZ3019.zip. I had a PE400 as my first and that line is a great line to get started with embroidery. Looking real quick at the PE800, it does support a USB port. What you're going to need to do is get a USB Flash drive (thumb drive) and put that in your computer and you're going to want to copy the file UTZ3019.pes. Don't copy the UTZ3019_DL.pes as that's just their version of a template for the fabric and isn't meant to be stitched. Eject that USB drive and put it into your embroidery machine. On my brother, i need to do this turned off, once the USB drive is in, Turn on your machine. Now, here's where I don't have details for the specifics of your model. But I did a quick search and this looks like a good video on the next steps: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/m9-WkrCFsrDRnJ8.html Let me know if you have success!

Hi, there is a much easier way to build the jumps and it offers varying jump heights. Also, you've eliminated safety options when the dog hits the jump.
@Abundanthealthcoach5 жыл бұрын
Great build-there's a company that sells the cups along a measured line for taller dogs-I like how you made the jump cups-brilliant-I've been staring at the plumbing aisle trying to figure that one out. The idea of cutting caps in 1/2 and then screwing them onto PVC every 3 inches sounded like hell and the odds of being injured seemed too high lol.

and how do you handle with storage space? goes top fold? it's not too hard?
@ChrisHuybregts7 жыл бұрын
This design was HEAVY. I used some door hidges at the top so I could fold, however, it was too heavy to store away everyday. Here's how I made it: www.instructables.com/id/DIY-Dog-Agility-A-Frame/
@davidsumpter30887 жыл бұрын
Instead of the 4-way I used 2 T's (one horizontal and one vertical together with a nipple). This way you can put the jumps as close together as you want to create a multiple bar jump, using the 4-way you will always be limited by the length of the feet (in this case min will always be 18" apart).

Sadly I can't find four way connectors anywhere in the UK - and the postage makes them prohibitively expensive to order them from the US ... to people wondering how much pipe it takes - pencil and paper people - it's not brain surgery!
