Im going to preface by saying that the tank mode should stay and be his 'definitive' alt mode. But i still think it wouldve been nice for them to try some sort of compromise for the 86 figure specifically. It was never going to be 100% accurate, but SS has been like that from the beginning, so doing something that sort of resembles his gun mode but make it look obscure like Shockwaves submarine mode wouldve been nice. All this was bound to happen and im sure they knew what they were getting onto when they introduced the 86 film into SS

The Bionicle community has to be the most passionate fan base out there. They are keeping the series alive and well so many years later it's crazy to see

I don't have nostalgia for this guy, so honestly he looks like a cybertron guy. meaning dorky, too much like a clunky toy and kibbly. his design doesn't do it for me.

Personally I think they should just have the gun mode included as an accessory for other bots to wield

As someone who was really into bionicle I’m super disappointed that the second try didn’t last long.

its not like there hasnt been a massive amount of gun violence throughout the country and schools.

Giving a realistic gun toy to a kid is worrying as unfortunately their has been cases In the USA where guns are too common, a cop had a second to make a choice on if the gun someone holding was real or not and unfortunately, has resulted in the loss of life of kids Until the day guns are put under control their, the safety of the children must come before pandering to a form Megatron has not been for over half his existence now.

I look forward for TakaraTomy to get to work on a Studio Series G1 gun Megatron and sell him in Japan and Transformers fans from outside of Japan can order him from overseas. Hasbro just sucks anymore. G1 Megatron is supposed to be a gun tranformer and not a tank transformer. G1 tank Megatron is not canon. G1 gun Megatron is canon.

I understand that laws nowadays don't allow a Megatron with gunmode and I am definitively fine with another altmode in any other line. But in Studio Series? If you can't do it, let it be.

Beast Machines may not be the best, but there are new characters that does help the series slightly. Nightscream, Noble, Botanica, Jetstorm, Thrust, Tankor, Obsidian, and Strika are all interesting characters that should be given new figures. I guess some of the OG character designs were interesting. Except for Silverbolt, the series did not treat him well at all! Other than that, the show is okay, but it could have been better. That's just my personal opinion.

Ok, to anyone who knows the Japanese G1 series (or at least Transformers Victory, Dinoking's debut), how do the members of the Dinoforce, and Dinoking for that matter, scale with the other characters, i.e smaller, taller than other characters? Just asking because I've never seen the Japanese G1 series of transformers.

I commented this in Rodimus Primal's video. Judging by SS86 Optimus Prime, I think they can pull off a near perfect looking Megatron robot mode and still give him a tank alt mode. And while I wouldn't mind a concept art G1 Megatron with a jet alt mode, a tank works just fine since it's basically a large mobile gun. Although, I would still like them to do an artillery gun alt mode at some point, too.

I have not grown on g1 but when i saw Megatron turning into a gun i found it cool but also odd cuz it didn't fit Megatron very well but i have search on Google if g1 Megatron was a tank and gess what he is tank he simply didn't show it besides if Galvatron is a reincarnated version of Megatron why Galvatron didn't turn in to a hand gun but he turn a Cybertronian plasma tank. And i think a tank fits Megatron perfectly a tank is alot more badass more intimidating and alot more powerful than a hand gun cuz megatron he himself is a weapon he never say a gun.

I have a solution. Hasbro could partner with Takara for the G1 accurate figure to be manufactured in Japan and offered exclusively as a online order / mail away collecters item. They could do some sort of age verification or waiver or whatever they need and the price point would be slightly higher as an exclusive figure but cheaper than a masterpiece. They could do the orange plug (with shoddy glue) thing like with the masterpiece.

Hasbro didn't screw up, They're listening to the USA Safety Laws. Guns are too risky. You point that at a cop, you'll be shot dead or get hurt bad & end up at the ER.

All of this 💯. I only got back into collecting Transformers at the start of the pandemic, and 4 years later, I'm beyond sick and tired of hearing people complain about this. Hasbro will NEVER produce another gun mode Megatron for retail in the US and no amount of complaining on Xwixxer, FB, KZfaq, etc. will ever change that fact. I can understand why that upsets some people, but it's really time to move on.
