I think Logan's charachter really depends on his precieved age. You can tell by a glance that this Logan has his memories, his experiences and despite his long life he is still grounded in reality. In the first Xmen live action he had amnesia, so his 'age' was irrelevant. Hugh Jackman's acting is really great and believeable, Logan seems quite childlike and animalistic, because from his own perspective he isn't that old and he never 'grew up' in a society, he is usually just following his instincts and his moral compass.

This is the Wolverine I really grew up with, basically the father figure to all the students and taught them how to fight and fend for themselves So you could imagine the utter confusion at age 13 when I saw Wolverine kissing Jean Grey in the Fox films 😂

To be fair Logan in every incarnation is awesome. And while the Og Series's Logan had a bit of a character development here and there (Also Logan X Storm best couple idea for Xmen) This version of him was like a father figure looking out for everyone which was cool

I think this is an interesting take on wolverine. In the modern era he works really well as the "dark mentor" with a past. Plus its cool seeing him bind with the kids. Not a bad angle for the mcu if they wanted to go with younger x-men
