It's good ambient music, but lacks the mind-worm, hummable bangers of past expansions from what I've heard so far. DF and SL also largely had this problem. Maybe Cinderworld comes close, or the music used in the background of the cinematic. But there isn't anything I've heard yet that is on the same level as (to name a few) Arthas My Son, Thaurissans Reach, Watchers on the Wall, Wolf at the Gates, Anduin's Theme, or City of Gold

The best music in this expansion is at that last building/cathedral close to the crystal in Hallowfall. The one at the start of this video. In other news the new zones are very small, with the new flying system I took less than 1 min for a complete tour, in Hallowfall you can see the last building right from when you enter and in 10-15 seconds you are there. As much as I love this new type of flying, it takes away from the immersion with such small zones.

This music hits different after Arthas killed Mal Ganis and wandered at Northrend until he loses his sanity and went insane. Its just so fitting.

The music of my childhood

Maiev is one of the best newly introduced characters in Warcraft 3 in my opinion. Her unflinching morality and truly blind justice is in contrast with Arthas's own blind need to deliver justice that is far more than both of them can understand. And in the end, their need to deliver said blind justice has made them incredibly spiteful and lead them to corruption, with Maiev ending up throwing the lives of her fellow Night elves for a cause that is hopeless and truly un-needed.(at the time before TBC that is). Hell, one can even argue that without her aggression, maybe Illidan would've been content chilling in Outland or something
