Great tips thank you. I’ll be looking for a secondhand caravan next spring so your videos are really helpful. I’ve seen a few caravans I like at the right price but the dealer is 2 hours drive from me! I’ve heard it’s better to find a dealer close to home just in case there’s a warranty issue. What would you advise?

There's so many people out there that try and con you it's incredibly. It's really hard to know who's genuine or not, especially when you're buying postal items over the internet from private sellers. By the way German caravans are the best 😉

Since you do not have a 3rd TV point or a FM aerial, why not do a straight swap for the VP4, which also has the signal finder, then you wouldn't have to drill any holes at all?

Best bit is the rail in the shower to hang wet coats. All reviews miss this .

In addition to the ballcock, we carry a short 18" length of rigid caravan pipework (we had it spare), clipped to 3" of hose and a hoselock connector. This goes into the aquaroll alongside the pump and connects to the blue hose to run to a nearby shared tap to refill. (Please disconnect from the tap after use) Can save a lot of walking and filling.

To get the ball facing down, mark the threaded part of the adaptor with a permanent marker to show the top, then it's easy to line up without peering through the top hole.

Pozi-drive and phillips are actually 2 different types of screw head. As a result, each screwdriver is different. Have a look om google.

You can use velco strips instead of drilling holes. Stick the velco onto the wall and the back of the amplifier, then attach them together, it has a strong bond.

Hi Ian, Thanks for the video its very much appreciated. I am looking for advice on the actual power supply to the amplifier, as in were can you actually connect the wires to as they have no plug? Is it possible to connect the wires to a 12v connector that you would use for a cigarette lighter sort of socket?

With the drill as a leg winder it’s worth noting that when you use it make sure it’s on scerw setting not drill as if on drill setting when it gets to the end the drill will wip round and will possibly brake your wrist and end your holiday as if on scerw setting it clutches on the chuck thus saves your wrist just saying throu experience myself
