I really like ELO. They opened for David Carpenter at in Fort Worth, TX back in the 70's. I would have never been able to go but my parents friends asked if they could take me to the David Carpenter Magic show which was something they couldn't afford at the time and my parents agreed. It was amazing. The concert by ELO stuck with me, David Carpenter the main act not so much. I grew up in a musical family and so music is my jam. I have a cousin who sat in with Willie Nelson and my uncle sat in with Bob Wills and the Texas Playboys more than once. I have his guitar that was played at those sessions. My grandfather was in a traveling quartet and taught piano and my mom and her sisters also sang as a quartet so you can say that music is in my blood. I even married a bass player who was part of a band that had a recording contract. I was fortunate enough to grow up during the best music of our times, the 60's and 70's.

It was a boot up your ass, it is the American way. I enjoyed his music for many years. Thank you Toby Keith for making us laugh and cry and making us proud to be Americans. Please Lord, help his family, friends, his bank during these tough times. Amen.

Toby was just a good and fun guy. He was from Oklahoma. I’m from Kansas and, for those who do not know, this sound is the attitude that we have towards tornadoes. It may have the ability to rip your house apart and kill you but when we hear the sirens we run out to watch it. 😂 Oh and I can’t say that I share your opinion on Texas teams. It’s KC all the way here. 😁

My favorite part of that movie is when America kicked Germany’s a$$ and saved the few that was left. That movie was one of the saddest things ever. Even though no kid should’ve died it was retribution to the father to suffer that way when his own kid died the same way he was killing thousands of Jews. But at the least the German kid didn’t share his dads disgust towards them considering he befriended the Jewish kid
