Used to race DNs on Lac Lebelle in Oconomwoc, Wisconsin. Kept the smile for days. As a small boat sailor, I had to relearn that you fall off in the puffs not head up. Centrifugal forces are huge.

This was when it returned from Mystic, CT. They needed a tugboat to do that job so left he yawl boat in Rockland.

Nooooooo, I just died a little. I have the same drone and had something similar happen. It was painful, not as painful as crashing my Triumph Bonneville, but ....painful. So glad you got it back. Happy New Year.

Watch again and you'll see there's a bannerless clip. It's actually out of order, shot first but added to the end of the video. And in the first clip, you can see the banner going aloft. A smart crew member noticed the drone and quickly sent the banner aloft.

Probably crazy question, but why are the sailboats all wrapped up like that? I’m guessing it’s for winter protection? I’m in the Houston, Texas area and have never seen a marina like this. How many months of the year is sailing feasible? Nice video and music.

Thanks! Yes, we shrink wrap boats in Maine. Best way to keep the weather out. Wooden boats like to stay in the water so they don't dry out. These schooners take passengers basically from Memorial Day to about Oct. 1.

Perfect. I'm a large, older man learning to sail in a 420 and I was imagining something more like this. Something ... slower and easier to handle, ultimately by 1 person. Do you sell plans or only complete boats?

Charles, 420's are often racing boats for sailing teams. Not knowing how large you are balancing the boat would likely be a challenge, and, depending on the size of your crew, it is possible that you are exceeding the intended crew weight. . . . Get a different boat.
