Hi, I have this tripod and I'm trying to source replacement parts for it. Is there any way you're able to share contact information for the team at Phopik?

I actually bought one in time to go on 2 major trips You left out the hook on the bottom of the column where you could hang a bag for more stability and the fact that the legs can be moved to a lot of different angles.

I purchased and used the TriLens product a number of times, but I was always nervous that the locking pins were not secure enough. Sure enough, at a shoot when I was removing the TriLens from my belt, my very expensive Sony 50mm f1.2 GMaster lens fell off and was completely destroyed when it hit the cement floor. This product is a great idea, but the locking pins are simply not secure enough. I will never use it again and I highly reocmmend that unless the design is modified to be more secure, that anyone else avoid using this product.

Are you saying the lens came loose from the mechanism and fell, or did part of the mechanism fall with the lens still attached?

This is just an open invitation to theft.... It advertises to everyone around you that 'hey not only do I have an expensive camera - I also have expensive lenses.' It's also an easy way to ensure that your lenses get damaged by banging into anything and everything around you. Your belt... it better be tight... all that glass weight is going to pull your pants down.

It's much easier to steal a shoulder bag than to take something off of someone's waist belt. But you're right about the weight, that's why their belt system has a shoulder strap which keeps it up.

Really? I would only use the frii at a wedding or engagement party. I can't see either of those events attracting people who would thieve. I do get what you're saying about weight though, I am thinking suspenders

Anyone doing professional work buys or rents 2 cameras so no lens changing is needed. It would be ridiculous to change it 50x during a shoot.

Thanks for this video! It got the point across, and I was specifically interested in this exact model. I do have a few criticisms about the video itself, that maybe will help: 1) Your opening was really long. The shots were pretty and the music was cool, but you had the pre-made stuff then *also* drone shots of the area you were reviewing at. Might have been better to just do one or the other. It felt like it took forever to get to the actual video, even though it was probably only 20 or 30 seconds. It was just too long. 2) You were struggling a few times to gather your thoughts. I get it was probably really, REALLY cold there right by the water, but you should have done some more takes to try and get the dialogue fleshed out a bit. 3) There were one or two areas where you were breaking down/reassembling the tripod that just felt clunky. Maybe speed the clip up, and explain what was happening in narration? I don't know. It just felt awkward. Not very smooth. Just a small detail, though. Overall, It just kind of seemed like you weren't really sure what you wanted to say. You got there eventually, but it took longer than some people are willing to wait for. Lots of "Uh"'s. It's not a big deal if you're not a natural speaker, but it's something you should work on. I only noticed this because I struggle with it a lot. "You know", "kinda", "it's like", etc. Best of luck, and thanks again for the video!
