Idk but if you do a research, Japan is less racist than South Korea, even in the 2000s in the mainstream jpop scene, Japan had singers like Thelma Aoyama and Crystal Kay who were half asian, half black. In fact, Crystal Kay's Motherland was part of Full Metal Alchemist soundtrack

I think they are trying to imitate black people the vocal and all, but it went horribly wrong 😩. One thing I know about south Koreans(probably their entertainment industry) is that they are very ignorant when it comes to race and identity. Even from their most recent movies they are very bad in representation. See Back street rookie, shooting stars and many others. They don't even try to learn😂😂
