i personally have heard other theories about mikas unusual behaviour and pretending to act like a broken phone and lain being present with a aliens body, when mika loses track of time shes loses her identity as the knights have taken access to her body and whenever she holds up the phones symbol next to her ear shes sharing info back with the knights, after watching lain and her behaviours, and when she keeps making the broken beep sound after the knights have been killed nobody is picking up so the call never goes forward. As for lain being in an aliens body and sharing arisu's secret which lain would have never done, It might be that someone hacked lains account or identity or a part of it and messed around, thus having an unusual body far from ordinary and messing around with her friend.

AHHHHHHHHHH i love how much sense this makes. I LOVE deep diving into the lore of games that I really like, but I'm not all that great at it. Xenoblade 1 and 2 are probably my two favorite games ever, and so i absolutely loved this. (spoiler for some of the things in the video, in case you haven't watched it yet) I know this is kinda just me agreeing with what you said in the video, but there is a line that Egil says that keeps ringing in my head: "The Monado is Zanza; Zanza is the Monado. They are one and the same." And, again, like you said, that really does imply that Alvis made Zanza and Meyneth to be the "Male" and "Female" parts of the Kadomony... "process"? (I don't fully understand the lore of it all). Not that he created Klaus and (omg I cannot remember Meyneth's original name), but he made them into God's to perform that task of completing the Kadomony "process" (AGAIN, IDK IF THAT'S THE RIGHT TERM, BUT YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN). It's just interesting to think that Klaus and (I'll just call her Meyneth) may not have originally been anything other than simple people in the xenoblade 1 world.

I don't think death was a release for them though. You said it yourself: They tried to find fun even in the most desperate of times. I also think they tried to find something useful at the top. I think the death in their sleep is also a metaphor for losing your will to live. Let me explain: If they had found by any chance a sort of oasis on the other side, they would've wanted to live the rest of their lives. In real life, doctors will try to keep you awake if you lose a lot of blood, because there's a high(er) chance of death when the patient falls asleep. Staying awake is a way to fight against death while falling asleep is like accepting death. This is what makes this ending so sad for me: They decided to go out on a "big bang": Snowball fight (= wasting energy, but having fun), eating their last food, going to sleep (with the understanding of possibly never waking up again) instead of pushing forward (because there's nothing left)...it has a "the last meal" vibe and they were aware that the end is near once they realized there's no place left to go to. They were cheerful and optimistic against all odds until the very end. Instead of being afraid of the end, they enjoyed their last hours together, appreciating the journey and each other's company.

I would agree with most of this until you mentioned the 31st episode. You have no idea how you'll react to a situation until it happens. The whole point of this season was that hana was never okay regardless of whatever friends she had. Since it's about time travel it's likely that hana from George's time was also never going to be okay despite having a family. A staff member on the original production of hugtto is the one who allegedly started the she died via suicide talk and I believe that givin the content of George's character. like real life there is no magic fix

Funny how it’s hedgehogs who can use the power of Chaos, not to mention golden Super forms. Sure, they’re powerful characters, but it’s a pretty odd coincidence that it’s mainly the hedgehog characters who can access that power. Well, except for Amy. She’s not as powerful as them so… wait… she’s never tried, so… could she? Anything is possible, I guess. I mean she caught up to Sonic’s casual speed of 767 mph with sheer willpower alone so… yeah, you never know. Either way, go hedgehogs! 🦔

When people take an issue with compliations I guess the crux is less about what is in them and rather how they end up telling it. For a genuine dudebro like Zack he gets grouped with pretty undercooked side-characters which kinda hinder his story. A novel, the crucial part which had made Kadaj in Advent Children far more bearable character exist in separate mediums even if Kadaj's backstory could have been told within the movie alongside Cloud's more personal issues. I believe there had been many flashy battle sequences which could have been cut from the movie and give room for those serene parts to give the rest of the action some gravitas.

I think the reason why Sephiroth's point as cosmic horror-figure in remakes might fly over people's heads is just that he is just too dapper-looking photogenic guy. It is a bit hard to be that afraid of the dude when his L'oreal hair and pouty lips look at you offering what fujoshiis dream about. It might be this newer design, but I think OG designed Sephy might have still passed as threatening. New look just goes into so hard to fashionista look that greatest horror is the possible fashion-nightmares the industry might throw up. Not anything against the guy though, but I still think the overplaying of Sephy's influence kinda started to stab back at the intended results. I still give you props to give a finger to multiverse theory.
