Our bedroom caught the southerly wind which whistled and howled at night here in New Zealand and when it got really cold my Dad would cover us with old coats because we were too poor for blankets and kiss us on the forehead😊😊Best years of my life❤❤

This sound is so nostalgic to me. I grew up in a period house in the south of england that made such a comforting buzzing noise when the wind blew and even though nothing will ever be quite the same, this is the closest thing ive found.

I didn't bother listening because of comments about beeps. When I was young I would open a window just enough to get the whistling/wind sound, snuggle up and deep sleep all night. My father used to also do this sound where he would hum and whistle at the same time. Really cool 👍
