We have the exact specs, pre-upgrade. I got the Aurora in 2016 on the marketing point that it was upgradable. Hitting that eight year mark, I wanted to know if it was still possible to get more years out of this thing. Thanks for proving it's possible. Great video.

I believe 105 is the latest. Also check that your graphics card drivers are up to date and you might need to run a calibration if you're using HDR.

Appreciate the video. I am using it on my Mac (M2pro chip, connected via DP). Still can't figure out how to correctly activate HDR and Dolby Vision. I tried to watch the DV videos on KZfaq, but I can't see the DV or HDR options on the videos settings list. When I manually turn on HDR on the Mac display settings, HDR options do appear under the videos but the images are significantly washed out. 🤣
@TaylorBrauerКүн бұрын
hmm, perhaps try connecting via an HDMI 2.1 cable as that might give you better HDR results. As for Dolby Vision, I believe that is exclusive to x86 GPUs.

Between the LCD and OLED screen there's a world of different. The difference between glossy and matte OLED is very subtle with the glossy being very slightly more punchy. The folks saying the 1tb matte screen sucks don't know what they're talking about. Congrats on the SD, enjoy!

The wattage number on the left is the amount of power the DC to AC inverter is using. The load that you see on the right is added to it. So the true battery load is the left number. Also the "heartbeat" is a depiction of a sine wave. The unit puts out a pure sine wave so delicate electronics can be used with the unit. I have one on order for my remote PC in my shop. I need a UPS that will not need frequent battery changes. The noise and beeping will not be an issue. The next model will likely fix the shortcomings. Goodbye AGM batteries!!!!

It's the graphics card since the usbc is converted to a DisplayPort signal. So, the dedicated graphics cards can't do anything with that. If this was a connected to a laptop with thunderbolt 3/4 support the sound would work.

I compared the Studio Display to a Samsung OLED at Mirocenter today. Forgetting about the Apple build quality/materials being 100x better than the Samsung....I still found the image more appealing on the Studio Display and i think it's due to having the glass panel on the screen. Something about having the glass there really provides a sense of DEPTH to the image and colors. The image on the Samsung OLED just looked flatter to me while the Studio Display had a more 3 dimensional quality, despite surely having a worse contrast ratio on paper.
