Today I learned, Awadhi is a language not a dialect. Hindi is a dialect for mass appeal that combines Awadhi, Bhojpuri and a few more as an amalgamation to form a unified language. Was studying about the Mauryas and wondering why our country is not named by the kingdom that ruled the most part of the subcontinent. Not that we already don't suffer from Multi Personality Disorder but the confusion of Bharat, Hindustan, India, Maurya etc.... should be unified like what was done with the language. India sounds good except it's not rhythmic when a billion shout it, neither does hindustan, nor does bharat.... Should we not grow up beyond name's ? we have mythology and science that backdates most civilization on earth. We must be some thing.... Kids of Bhrama? .... What was our country's name and what should it be, that makes everyone here feel included and wanna be a part of the success?

I would like to say that Awadhi remains a dialect based on the parameters of the definition of a dialect. This is true that Hindi only developed later as a language combining elements of Sanskrit and Urdu. Pali, Prakrit etc simplified and later turned into modern day dialects. We have Awadhi, Brij-bhasha, Maithili etc which are older than modern day khadi-boli (Hindi). Not to forget the intense similarity with the beautiful language of Bengali which has its own vast literary history.

I have searched a lot for differences between awadhi and bhojpuri but could not get sufficient info. It would be helpful if you could make a detailed video about it comparing sentence structure of both languages.Also,try to enlist differences in awadhi of lucknow and sultanpur.
