So refreshing to see Johnny again. The late night Comics in this day are disgusting. Example: Jimmy Kimmel

This was one of the few times Ed was even funnier than Johnny. And Johnny was hilarious.

I mean, it's mildly amusing at best. Is it really worth being clipped, though? Newhart is one of the funniest people who has ever lived, so given the title, I was waiting for something truly great.

Johnny could’ve been a cast member on Saturday Night Live. He was a pretty talented comic all those different characters and skits he did were hilarious.

You know Carl Sagan would have gotten a kick out of the vast explosion joke. because he and Johnny Carson were really good friends. and he was a guest on the Tonight Show a number of times. and he had such a great sense of humor and he was brilliant.

Carson's biggest strength was making things seem spontaneous and off the cuff. There's no way this wasn't a prepared bit. The director knew what was coming, the backstage area was perfectly lit and all of a sudden these massive cameras had enough mobility to follow him across the studio floor? It makes for great television, all the same.

Let's look at the possible combinations: 3 Black 0 Red 2 Black 1 Red 1 Black 2 Red (In this case, at least one person would have seen 2 Red hats and kept his hands down. Ruled out) 0 Black 3 Red (In this case, everyone would have kept hands down, since there are no Black hats. Ruled out) So, the only two possibilities are: 3 Black 0 Red 2 Black 1 Red So, the maximum number of Red hats can only be 1. Since I see the other two persons with Black, if there is 1 Red, it can only be on me. At this point, I am assuming the other two are also Intelligent and they also figured out there can only be 1 Red hat. So, if they see a Red hat on me (max 1 red) they would have guessed their hat is Black. Since the other two did not answer, I make an assumption that I am also wearing Black. So the third guy figuring this out actually depends on his faith on the other two's intelligence. If they were dumb, there is no way the third guy can be absolutely sure :) .. and that's why the riddle starts with "3 Intelligent men apply for a job"..

I worked at a business across the street from Burbank Studios a couple years in the early 80’s. Several times a week Johnny would pull up beside me in his white corvette at the light to the entrance. Never met the gentleman but it got to the point where he would always wave when he saw me. A class act!

Those who are so-called late night shows cannot garner enough people to watch their junk and they all together cannot get the audience that Johnny Carson would get in one night. I still laugh so hard watching these old clips.
